LMM, I know itchy extremities can be a sign of pre-eclamsia however if can also be heat and hundreds of other reasons. Keep an eye on any swelling and if you are worried. "call the midwife! :)

Thanks Kitten. Had midwife/consultant yday so BP and urine are fine. No swelling either, just driving me mad!

LMM I've had itchy skin a lot during this pregnnacy, it seemed to have died down but every so oftern it comes back. I had an incredibley itchy ankle last night bu I've had it all over. Skin does tend to get quiet dry in pregnancy so I've been using Oilatum bath lotion and some aqueous cream afterwards which seems to help. Also keeping your fluid intake up should help. I did have a rash at about 18 weeks which the doctor said was dermatitis. I think it was because I changed my fabric softner so I bought some fairy sensitive and it went away.

I don't mind being followed round the internet, it's nice to have someone to talk to when you're on your own all day :)

    xx

just seeing those perecentages of survival made me panic slightly. :) i was so worried before the 12 weeks scan. i suppose what will happen will do. can't stress too much. :)

Thanks ikkle. yes you are right. growing up with my slim sister and being in an environment where everyones obsessed with weight is so annoying. i do get very hungry and i eat. so i have ignored the stupid advise anyway. stupid women. DH's family are totally OTT about diets. so annoying. no wonder DH starts with ' just to let you know that Rupi hasnt just put on weight, she is pregnant'. i got annoyed by that.

sorry had written this ages ago but we had to attend a meeting about our stupid move to kings cross. boooo

sarara we live in addiscombe (off morland road) so when we have to go out to eat in South Croydon, we get that 312 bus. :)

I went to the chemist this morning to get some Nicorette inhalators for my OH who is stopping smoking TOMORROW! OMG when I asked for them, the pharmacist looked at my huge tummy and back at my face and didn't know what to say! I was like, "it's not for me I promise!!!" It did make me laugh...

I'm not a handbag person at all and a rucksack-type bag seems more practical to me. Any ideas?

I've got an Eastpak messenger bag I've had since I was 18 that I'm planning on using. It's been through EVERYTHING with me, college, uni, travelling, I really like the fact I'm using it for the next stage in my life. How soft is that, getting sentimental about a bag! :D plus it's :money: as I don't have to buy a new one!

Edit to add - Damn you Emsbet! Those are some really nice bags!
