Rups tell her to mind her own business. I'm sorry but I can't stand people who comment on other peoples size, weight, looks etc. Yeah you don't need to eat for two, but if you want an extra bun or an extra slice of bread or whatever then that's your choice. I spent my entire teens being told that being 6ft2 and a size 12-14 was fat and all it did was make me develop a really bad relationship with food and in the end I put a lot of weight on. I did slimming world and lost just over 7 stone in around 10 months ish and was still a good size and all i got was ooh you've lost too much, ooh your not eating enough. Some people just need to mind their own and realise what a negative effect their 'words of wisdom' have on other people. I will be rejoining slimming world after the baby is here. Not only because I want to lose any baby weight but also for the social aspect of it as it's a lunch time group in the city centre.

    28 weeks today :j:j:j

Dont know why but that milestone has been stuck in my mind as being an important date to make, also get to see my bubba again on friday so only 2 sleeps to go to that :D

I've just realised I've not taken any vitamins in weeks :o dont even know where they are - better stop at the shops on the way home from the school run :o

Sorry if morbid but been keeping an eye on this recently. Counting down the weeks. 28 meant a lot to me too. :o

I read somewhere that the chance of survival at 28 weeks is 90% with very little medical intervention and no long term problems.

Length of Pregnancy Likelihood of Survival
    23 weeks 17%
    24 weeks 39%
    25 weeks 50%
    26 weeks 80%
    27 weeks 90%
    28-31 weeks 90-95%
    32-33 weeks 95%
34+ weeks Almost as likely as a full-term baby

Sorry to be cheeky here, just I remember someone posted a recipe for a sweet potato I think it was curry, was a slimming world recipe, I can't seem to find it, if someone could find it for me I'd appreciate it xxxx

I am making that for OH dinner tonight :p Bought the ingredients yesterday.

Rups, I got a phone call with my results, I was so scared when I heard my midwife call with regards to the results. She just wanted to reassure me that they had come back fine. I still received the letter a few weeks later.

I can't go in there since it featured on gypsy weddings...Swanley and his missus went there for dinner...they are from Caterham... I know too much…

Rups & Sa-ra-ra – If you fancy venturing further out there is a lovely Italian in Coulsdon called Il Carretto & a wicked (but expensive) indian in Warlingham called India Dining!

I wouldn't let that put you off - it's really very nice (but Not Cheap, hence it being celebration). I think we're going there for my birthday meal soon, IMO it's better than Le Cassoulet which is just around the corner.

Warlingham really isn't that far from me - I actually live in Selsdon :)

dizsie thats funny. I watched a bit of that (the 1st series only) and then got bored. lol Albert's Table not Albert square. what am i on? hehe :p ah wish we had a car so we could venture out to eat. we hardly even go to South Croydon unless we are either dining with friends or like what we did yesterday. this group dining thing came about from a guy who started tweeting and arranginf dinners around Croydon and Purley, so through our friends, we joined. Its on twitter though. see if you fancy joining? its so cool to meet other local people. if you are, can give you the twitter address to follow. :)

Where are you then Rups? Is it a long way outside Croydon? If we're making an evening of it (and particularly before I got pregnant), we'd just get the bus in to South Croydon and then a cab back - it's about £8 to ours, so we'd just split it and both have a drink.

We started buying little bits and pieces like body suits etc just after the 1st scan, the only problem we had was not knowing whether to buy pink or blue. I think secretly I knew blue as I'd bought a pack of boy body suits with stripes, stars and dinosaurs on lol.

The big stuff like cot and pushchair you can get later on, we got our cot at around 22 weeks because my mum bought it when there was a 20% off offer from Babies R Us.

We've just started buying the more gender specific stuff since our scan :) can't wait till the next one :) only 16 days to go. :)

    Hi ladies,

Sorry I've been AWAL, went to stay with DH in Wales whilst I'm off sick and thought that I'd better come and update you all. I'm still getting palpitations and am signed off sick until the 12th July.

I have an echocardiogram and a 24 tape booked for 6th July (happy birthday to me), then gotta pop back on the 7th to give back the tape. I'm seeing the Cardio consultant on the 11th, then at the maternity consultant on the 13th based on what has been uncovered at the cardio one. Phew....busy busy.

The upshot is I have a week left at work MAXIMUM before the end of term. I feel like such a slacker - but I really haven't been fit for work. So there is no guilt.

Question - changing bags, any recommendations?
Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
    % of house owned/% of mortgage paid off. July 25 - 38.82%/31.66%

I love mine, it's the black and white spot one from Next but they do two other patterns too. It's £25. http://www.next.co.uk/g703142s3#134859g70

Sa ra ra ra yay for movement! It's one of the best feelings ever :) now bubba won't still wiggling all the time. Enjoy it :)
Money puddle pregnant or not pregnant, that's awful! And the excuses "I had a dodgy burger" blimey. I think I'd be sitting there in tears. Can you not say I'm too hormonal or something and do home? Sounds too stressful. Big hugs Hun, hope it's nearly home time.
Lady M sorry to hear you're having a rough day. Is your CPN still coming over? Hope you're feeling stronger soon, hugs.
AMC I made the same mistake. Some supermarkets do their own brand pregnancy vitamins. I bought bog standard ones and they have "not suitable for pregnancy due to vitamin A" I'd already had a few by this point. They have 100% of rda of vit A so I hope a couple of days worth will be ok. Look on the bottle you have, maybe if reduced vitamin A they may be suitable. It prob says on the bottle.
Thanks Emsbet you're a star! :) a lot is being in the house, but mainly not being able to do much in the house. But it does feel like I've followed you online a bit too much today! Am determined to invest in a decent sewing machine and find someone to show me how to use it though! A nice sit down job and I could be creative :)

Have had a lazy, lazy morning! My and Hetty bear snuggled in bed all morning. I snoozed for a bit and no funny dreams so feel a bit awake now especially now I've eaten something proper well a sandwich. Going to prepare the dinner for when the kiddlywinks arrive, just tuna/sweet corn pasta so not much to do :)

My sister bought bubba a Moses basket off our friend so am super excited to see it :j :j I'll post a piccie later if I can ever work out how to do it from the iPad.

Right I'm going to get off my backside................now!

Since changing to cloth I'm looking for a bigger bag, how big is this? If you are using cloth how many nappies do you think you'd fit in? :)
