baggatis is such a cool place too.:) do you live in Purley?

i remembered the other thing! lol i normally wear those big huge ummy tuck pants under my dresses/skirts, but am finding them a bit snug. was wondering whether to continue wearing those, as they might squeeze my belly. paranoid much? lol.. does anyone know what else i can wear underneath please, as if i just wear tights (and i need maternity tights too as the top squeezes me :( ) or no tights, then i get a rash between my thighs. :( i have big thighs. hehe

The last two blood results came back as me being anaemic as well so I've started taking a multivitamin containing iron. I hope that's ok – the midwife said to go back on Pregnacare but I ran out and it's really expensive unless it's on offer. Is a cheaper substitute ok?

Just make sure it's specifically for pregnancy - 'normal' multivitamins may contain the wrong dosage for you and baby, may not contain folic acid and/or may contain vitamin A, which you should avoid.

Have you thought of wearing comfort pants

I have really bad baby brain and have been discussing it with OH as it is getting me down. I forget everything yet have been walking around with a notepad and pen for the last year and a bit yet still forget I have it.

Hoping that it will gradually return to normal after Mini_Cub is born. It is scientifically proven that Womens brains shrink temporarily during pregnancy.

oh we are also waiting for the results of our nuchal test whichi gave blood for on Friday. I am not sure how long it takes, but on the leaflet it says that the lab takes two days to sort it out. so am assuming that two days were up yesterday and today i havent still heard anything. hmm not sure whether to get excited yet that all is ok yet or not?

I kind of feel like I know you all and want to comment on lots of things but I will be here forever. So will just jump in now and say hello

Ladies I have come to rave about http://www.kiddies-kingdom.com.
So far I have had fantastic service! I was going to buy nursing chair through kiddiesave as cheaper. However after sending emails more than once and to more than one address and also calling them and the phone just ringing off I decided to go elsewhere! The CS there are impossible to get hold of and I have seen many a review of them saying that deliveries do not turn up. And i'm weeks off giving birth so don't need that hastle. So I may have paid an extra £20-30 but the service at Kiddies Kingdom has been fantastic. I emailed to check they did have the item in stock I wanted ... they emailed back within a few hours to say yes. (Post interrupted its just arrived!!) They did not give the money match though as kiddiesave didn't have it in stock but I did try ;-) And again they replied straight away to my email about this in a few hours. So feeling confident about this part of the customer service I placed my order. I recieved immediate emails to say my the order had been placed - minutes later to say that the order had reached the warehouse - and an hour or so later to say it had been dispatched from the warehouse. This morning I recieved a text message before 930am to give me a 1 hour time slot for delivery. very precice! [FONT=&quot]Your order is due for delivery between 11:54-12:54 today.

very precice! And as you can see from my post time this has just arrived at 12:03.

Uh-oh, they're not specifically for pregnancy, just normal Boots vitamin tablets. They do contain vitamin A although it says on the packaging 'a reduced level'. I think it's 400mg? They do contain folic acid.

I did Google taking normal vitamin tablets in pregnancy before but didn't find anything that said it was a bad idea, apart from the NHS website which said don't take any vitamin A at all. I see what you're saying about vitamin A but the ones I'm taking have a reduced level. Also baby is only a few weeks away from being born so it should be ok?

As for pregnancy brain, I've had that for months!

I have had similar from Kiddicare. I ordered pram and footmuff last Thursday at 4pm and within an hour had a delivery day of Monday which I could change. So changed to today and footmuff should be here between 13.11 and 14.11 - I knew pram wouldn't come until end of July. I did get a bit sucked in by their discount though, I don't even know what a footmuff is and pretty sure I won't need it straight away but it was the same price as pram without it everywhere else. Not very MSE :rotfl:

My god I swear I might as well just give up at work. We are so understaffed its ridiculous. So today was of our team couldn't come in because his baby boy has meningitis (:() so of course I expected the rest of the team would pull together to help with covering his work for the rest of this week. Of all the people that could possible help. What do I get:
1 had a dodgy burger last night so is going home in 10 minutes
1 is on holiday this week
1 is out of the office today and has no suggestions
1 had a toenail removed on monday, and is 'too ill' to help
So I'm sat at my desk, 6 months pregnant, in tears on moneysaving expert, trying to sort things by myself with no clue how to get started. I HATE my job. Can't wait to get out of here :(
