I haven't watched a single episode of OBEM - am I the only one?
Nothing to report here apart from that the first load of baby clothes is in the wash. I had to split it into two as we have so many clothes they wouldn't fit in the wash machine  I'm surprised as I really took care not to buy too many things. Although I have added towels, blankets and pram sheets so maybe that's why there's so much stuff. Hoping to pack baby hospital bag tomorrow when everything's dry. Will then start worrying about my bag.
I'm off to have some ice cream now and lie down to see if my LO will start moving a bit more.

I do like it a lot and it is very comfy so I guess if I do go I can wear that and maybe just add some nice jewelry and get my hair done! I thought my scenario was bad, but 4 days before your due date? Wow! Still, I guess we can only wait and see nearer the time!
Oh and I agree with the others - you do a fantastic job with the list!
Thanks
Yeah that's what I thought about the blue maxi dress (I have the black one too) as I refused to spend a lot on something I will not wear again (although if I have another I could always use it then). I also have a wedding about 6 weeks after my EDD so I figured that dress will still be ok to use then to hide my flabby belly

I was 7st 1lb at 8 weeks , technically underweight and had to see a consultant at 14 weeks to make sure I was eating healthily and didn't have an eating disorder etc (I've always been naturally skinny- and eat like a pig!).
I was weighed at my 25 week appointment last week and am now 8st 9lbs :T First time in my life I can remember putting on weight!
I still have a tiny bump though, in my customer facing job you can't tell at all that I'm pregnant under this uniform, only when I'm wearing a tight top can you see my bump! I'm hoping I'll all of a sudden be huge!Happiness can be found in even the darkest of places, if one only remembers to turn on the light - Albus Dumbledore

I've only watched one, big mistake! It was the night before my 12 week scan, when I was still trying to get my head around the whole 'omg I am pregnant, really?!' feeling. I cried all the way through - what a sapI think it was just overwhelming and amazing at the same time.

Emsbet and MissMonkeyMoo have you been stealing from my wardrobe? I too have the blue and black maxi dresses. In fact I was being harassed to upload a recent bump photo onto Facebook and I just did wearing my blue dress
fab value for money, and like you said Emsbet post birth it'll hopefully flatter the flabby bits!
Choclover forgot its Tuesday and your induction, hope it's all going well and soon you'll be having cuddles.

'ello 'ello you lot!
You've been busy popping out the little ones since I last checked in! Congrats to all the new mummies and daddies. Now I'm 24 on the list :eek: and have had to eat half a bag of haribo tangfastics to ease the trauma...
But, I have made yummy lentil and bacon soup to offset that little slip.
I've been AWOL for a couple of days for the same reason as before - shopping! We've now got the cot, mattress, second hand sling bargain (£15! - have already been practicing with a bag of potatoes - it looked very cosy), blanket and some clothes. Also picked up the free newborn starter pack from ASDA, so we have nappies/wipes and cotton wool. Worryingly, it's the local NCT sale on saturday ...:rotfl:
Phew! I was knackered after that lot.
Thankfully the sun has come out after a miserable few days and it is making me feel much cheerier.
Is anyone setting up an FB group? I'd love to join.
Have a great day all, I should really be getting on with some work... or maybe some ice-cream?

Congratulations rakkibeth and Museumworker, lots of births recently. Keep them comming
Another mini meltdown from me today but feeling a lot better now and able to relax.
Couldn't feel mini_cub all morning, did the usual chocolate biscuits, cold drink bath and nothing.
Went in a rush to the hospital and my midwife was there so took me straight through to hear the heartbeat. Phew! she also snuck me in for a quick scan to reassure me. All is good and they did a sneaky 4d scan, so now I have about 8 4d pictures to look at
I have a feeling my anxiety levels are rising now :rotfl: midwife was lovely and said that I can come in whenever I need reassurance and not to worry about coming in too much. I think I have done well with today being the first time I have gone in without an appointment.
I watched OBEM last time coming up to the due date and probably will again just not until closer to the time. I didn't find labour anywhere near as bad as they made it seem.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

They are filming OBEM at the LGI again between September and December so there is a chance of them filming whilst I'm in but not really sure how I feel about having a camera crew and the nation watching my little boy emerging from my nunny lol. Although if you let them film you but they don't use the footage they give you a DVD copy of your labour which is kinda cool I guess.
I'd be another one up for a Facebook group
The list is scary. Feel like I've jumped from number 69 and a few more births and I will be in the 40s eek.
Good luck to all boldies xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
