PS: Forgot to say, I've got a *SERIOUSLY POSH* wedding to go to at 37+3. Haven't even thought about a dress .....
I really like the look of some of the Isabella Oliver things (and am keeping an eye on ebay) but the ebay prices hold up really well!

Congratulations rakkibeth and Museumworker, lots of births recently. Keep them comming :D

Another mini meltdown from me today but feeling a lot better now and able to relax.

Couldn't feel mini_cub all morning, did the usual chocolate biscuits, cold drink bath and nothing.

Went in a rush to the hospital and my midwife was there so took me straight through to hear the heartbeat. Phew! she also snuck me in for a quick scan to reassure me. All is good and they did a sneaky 4d scan, so now I have about 8 4d pictures to look at :D

I have a feeling my anxiety levels are rising now :rotfl: midwife was lovely and said that I can come in whenever I need reassurance and not to worry about coming in too much. I think I have done well with today being the first time I have gone in without an appointment.

I watched OBEM last time coming up to the due date and probably will again just not until closer to the time. I didn't find labour anywhere near as bad as they made it seem.

They are filming OBEM at the LGI again between September and December so there is a chance of them filming whilst I'm in but not really sure how I feel about having a camera crew and the nation watching my little boy emerging from my nunny lol. Although if you let them film you but they don't use the footage they give you a DVD copy of your labour which is kinda cool I guess.

I'd be another one up for a Facebook group

The list is scary. Feel like I've jumped from number 69 and a few more births and I will be in the 40s eek.

Good luck to all boldies x
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Emsbet and MissMonkeyMoo have you been stealing from my wardrobe? I too have the blue and black maxi dresses. In fact I was being harassed to upload a recent bump photo onto Facebook and I just did wearing my blue dress :) fab value for money, and like you said Emsbet post birth it'll hopefully flatter the flabby bits!

I got them on recommendation from you ;) Just looked at your picutre on fb, you look fabulous :)

((hugs)) kitten. I'm glad the hospital have been good with you and that you got some 4D pictures to look at :) I'm glad all is well with little lady :)

  • Oh Kitten glad everything is well. Do your local hospital do 4d scans? Aren't they amazing? Bet your OH is also excited to see LO 4d. We've had two little 4d previews one at 13 weeks and another at 17weeks where we got a little picture too :) I'm getting used to bubba moving loads now so think I would panic if I didn't feel him at all now.

Ikkle it's scary isn't it, I was in the 60s before and suddenly I'm in the 40s!!! I'm not sure if I'd want it to be filmed. OH is eager to film, but I asked him who would watch it? Not sure I want to see the business end tbh, not when it's my bits on show!

There was a gorgeous one on ebay in a kind of cappuchino colour, but it was starting at £60! Really didn't want to spend that much, especially as it is a 5 hour drive, a day off work AND 2 hotel nights already, PLUS a present

I did see one in the style I was looking for, but am a bit worried that it will be minging if I actually order it. Opinions?

I didn't know the hospital did 4d scans but because they teach in the room I was in I think they have it set up in there so was a nice surprise (once we found out Mini_cub was ok)

The lack of movement seems to be because she has turned around and is now breech (plenty of time to turn back) and where as she was kicking often strong and high up she is now kicking the back which even when I saw the movement on screen I couldn't feel them.

Think it might be time for me to go on the list, can you assist Emsbet?

EDD 16th September and she is a she.

Loving the sound of the maxi dresses, I got one from new look last time which I am currently wearing, unfortunately it doesn't quite fit on the boobs so not quite as flattering as it should be but very comfortable. If there is anyone with bigger boobs then Yours have some lovely maxi dresses in (non maternity but very comfortable and flattering too)

It's crazy how quickly they grow isn't it. I've been taking pictures on my phone every 2 weeks since 14 weeks and it's lovely seeing bump grow :)

dj, I like that dress :)
