Room to grow .... errrrr....... not really! The outside material is stretchy, but the lining isn't very forgiving. I'll try it in another 10 days or so and then I have time to do emergency shopping if needed.
Mind you, I haven't actually put on any weight for 2 weeks solid now. Bizarre.Self-building fund : £4259

It is to be opened when baby arrives.
What about this
http://www.gumigem.co.uk/ourshop/prod_1501759-GUMIGEM-Disc-Pendant-The-Heaton.html
I won one a while back and really like it. A gift for baby to chew on but also so mummy can wear jewellery. A little over the budget but I can swallow that.
I just want to get her something nice, even though I have no idea who she is. Plus it is nice looking at little girl things but in a different way (if that makes sense)Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Yay for the dress fitting DJ, I'm not at all jealous lol! The eBay one looks lovely too as a back up.
Ikkle the thing is I'm the kind of person that sits here making comments at people on the tv so would hate it to be me that people are commenting on. Saying that it would be weird to watch me give birth I think
I think it was Dizzi that mentioned those sock on things on here. But I got one of the mummy hooks for the pram in tesco was £4.99 don't know if it is a good price. But hadn't seen one before and my pram is a bar across so need somewhere to hang my shopping.
Kitten welcome to the list!! I love the gumigem, what a great idea! I've got some badedas bubble bath stashed away for post labour
Ikkle love the animals, what did you make them with?:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j

The ones where it's all the animals and a palm tree are just drawn and painted on to card then cut out and stuck on with sticky pads as we had a big rectangular panel above a door that looked boring.
The larger ones are A4 size and drawn and painted on a canvas.
It's just Acrylics paint from the Works that I used. If my OH gets me a piece of MDF then I will be making a door sign that matches them too.You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Hello all *waves*
Am new here and have just spotted this so thought I'd pop in
Im 9 weeks pregnant with my first and very excited!
One question to ask though, I've been reccomended to join as many baby clubs as possible. Does anyone know if there is already a thread on this? Or possibly a list somewhere? I can think of a few obvious ones (mothercare, tesco, babysrus) but thats where I stop! Lol0 -
Hi all
Very happy to say I am now the proud mummy of Joseph Arthur, born Saturday 16th June at 5.50pm weighing 7lb 8oz. Words can't describe how delicious he is!:j
Quick summary - I was admitted to maternity ward on Tuesday (week ago today) because of high blood pressure which the consultant felt was pre-eclampsia. They decided the next day that I would be induced. Two very long days followed before my waters were finally able to broken on Friday at 5.30pm - 24 hours later my little man arrived! There were a few complications but we are both doing well and came home yesterday. Can't praise the care I received high enough - hopefully will do a more detailed birth story later if anyone is interesed.
Obviously need to catch up on the last weeks events - love to all and yay to any new mummies!
