They sent me away Rebekah so back home since about 9.

Do you have any snacky things in you could try? Or chocolate? Anything to give you some energy?

Cereal bars? Dried pineapple or dried fruit? Oohh Gilly your doing fab.

Gilly is there nothing at all you fancy eating? I'm sure your OH wouldn't mind popping to a shop or cooking something. It's worth trying to nibble on things so that you don't end up feeling really unwell due to lack of food also keep up your fluids so you don't dehydrate.

I am hoping to have a water birth, do you think it is still worth hiring a tens machine? I had a quick look and boots do the mamatens mytime (that monitors contractions) for £39.98 for up to 6 weeks

Honey do you have any sweets to suck on for energy? Or a ice lolly? Try and pop something light down u every now and then if you can even if its a bite here and there of a biscuit or 2. xx

Thanks everyone. i really hope im progressing so keep your fingers crossed for me. Managing to shut my eyes between contractions OH still dead to the world :rotfl:

Ooooh all this talk of energy reminded me of a usefull tip....Buy some Dextrose tablets to put into ur maternity bags, that way if u cant stomach food like Gilly, at least u`ll have energy. Its the same ones as Diabetics take if they feel a hypo coming on xx
