More ((hugs)) rj, I'm glad they don't think it's anything too serious. Rest up and look after yourself.
BB, have you been having anymore twinges?
I managed to sleep a bit better last night. Back to waking every hour to turn over due to sore hips but at least I wasn't awake for ages in the middle of the night. Managed to have two naps yesterday including falling asleep in the bath
Got a wedding evening do tonight and then that's all the excitement of our long weekend over. We have nothing else planned apart from the food shop and a trip to Toys R Us today.
I hope you all have lots of lovely things planned for the weekend.

I didn't realise you had been on such a journey Fluff - and now you are going to be a mummy this month!
:D:D
Morning all
Gorgeous picture MrsH, thanks for posting. Happy due date Nora and hope you feel better soon Rjh. Ladylegs, I would definately agree with calling your labour ward/delivery suite for advice. I've had to call mine before and they were very helpful
Lovely sunny day here - fingers crossed it stays like it. Meeting a couple of friends for lunch today, tomorrow we are planning to go to jubillee fete in town then have a BBQ. Monday and Tuesday I plan to just enjoy spending time with DH, maybe going to a firework display on Monday night. I am feeling very very heavy so will take it as easy as need to - starting to get random twinges in lower back and tummy now. And I must must must open that box of raspberry leaf tea which has been looking at me for the past few days!
Take care all

Happy due date Nora!
V-day for me tomorrow, so getting excited about that now. Bean is extremely active now, and Moon saw him move from the outside for the first time last night as my nightie has a patterned print on it which made it look more obvious when it moved, so he's pleased. He's gone off to a shooting event again today, so won't be back til this evening, and I'm off babysitting a couple of hours later. Won't see him much tomorrow either as he goes shooting on a Sunday, so it's just me, Bean and the cat, who is still on Border guard in the garden. Loving the cat pictures too ladies - particularly the one of Chewy as he's just like my puddy (mine was not blessed with many brain cells either, but then he's been run over twice, so I think he may have slight brain damage anyway as he has a brown patch in one of his eyes now too).
My Mum asked me what I wanted for my birthday the other day, and to be honest, I hadn't even thought about my birthday (1st July) as I'd been focussing on Bean's all this time. lol. I've asked her for a beauty voucher that I can use once Bean's born, as well as a babysitting voucher for the duration of the appointment if Moon happens to be at work on the day I choose.
Had a good time on my course yesterday, but have developed horrendous upper back pain (in a band below my shoulderblades and stretching into my ribs), which I think may be due to my ribs expanding (previously I'd put it down to my bra being too tight but I've got an extender in now so it can't be that). I had hoped that it would be better this morning after a lie down as I'm having my hair cut at 11.15, but it still hurts. Anyone else had this, and have you found anything that helps relieve the pain?
Well I'd better go and get some breakfast, as I've been awake for a while now, and I'm getting hungry.
Hugs to all who need or want them, and labour vibes where appropriate.

Ooh, Exciting times, Turltlemoose. Good luck!
Thanks to all last night who gave some good advice.:)
I notice many due around the same day or week:p
Phoned the community midwife number for my area and basically left another message to be seen at an evening clinic they do on Thursdays at the mat unit...just have to wait and see if they call back. Haven't had bloods taken or urine for a while.
Why is no-one ever on the end of a phone when you need them?
Anyway, labour vibes to all and massive congrats to everyone who has had little bundles over the last year...I have only been an avid lurker of the birth list this time.:o Sad but true.0 -
I cannot sit still - feel really agitated and brimming with anticipation - and im probably getting all worked up over nothing :rotfl:
Right I'm off to do the washing, put some bits in the cellar, and Hoover downstairs.
Soooooo excited that I might get to meet my baby this weekend, would be lovely for my SS (7) too as he was most disappointed when he arrived here Friday to find his little brother or sister isn't here yet!!

Morning all!
Turtlemoose I hope things get going for you, how exciting!! I'm excited for you! Any other signs? Quick jump on OH whilst munching pineapple
RJH hope you feel better this morning. Glad nothing serious, hope you're able to rest over the weekend.
SM I've been getting pain like at the bottom of the of my fit shoulder blade and at the bottom of the front right ribs if that makes sense? I put it down to strain from the crutches at first but I don't think it is anymore. A nice massage on the back from OH helps. I use an anti inflammatory gel on the back too, my GP says its ok to use as I've used it for years but use a small amount now. I don't know if deep heat or similar are safe in pregnancy though, or maybe just a massage with baby oil or similar wold relax it a bit?
Lady legs hope you get a reply from them. Do they have an assessment unit at your local hospital? To be honest if you get too worried and get nowhere it may be worth going to A&E as at least they might give you the once over or be able to arrange you to see a obs dr or midwife. I know it's not what it's there for, but like you've said it's a bank holiday weekend so it's a look wait until Wednesday for services to be open again.
Emsbet hope you have a good time at the wedding
Triangle your bump is looking lovely
please send some sun here, is looking very grey and chilly outside
I had a rubbish night, the cat doing "baby massage" every five minutes and being very snuggle. I think she slept on me throughout the whole night which is unusual, then I needed a wee, then it was heartburn, then I between my hips popped and I was stuck.....the usual preggers rough night lol. Lucky I slept from seven till half 10. Got way too much to do.
Taking mum (or mum is taking me- miss hop-a- along) into town, then got a bday dinner for a good friend. Then going into London tomorrow as MIL has a boat on the Thames for jubilee river thing. If we get there, sounds like it could be a disastrous journey as lots of bits and bridges are closed lol. Then we've got to climb literally onto the boat via a plank....could be an interesting video of me on YouTube haha.
Hope everyone has a great weekend
