Just wanted to announce the save arrival of my beautiful baby girl Olivia Faye who arrived 29th may (due date!!! Pineapple, nipple tweaking an a bit of the other did it for me!!! Hehe) weighing 6lb 4oz at 0355.
She is worth the whole 9months of pregnancy an the labour.

Congrats to you MrsH..2B!0 -
Congratulations to Mrs H, Welcome to the newbies, hugs to everyone in pain, feeling upset, stressed or just wanting hugs.
It's JUNE! I'm 39 weeks and my OH would love to have baby arrive this weekend - mainly because he wants to open all the boxes and set up the pram but doesn't want to do it before baby arrives because he thinks it'll encourage baby to stay put
Since I became pregnant my mum always seems to clean part of the house when she visits. Last time she came down with my little sister, sent me to bed because she decided I needed rest, sent my sister to the study to get her homework and revision done and cleaned the bathroom and kitchen. Both my husband and I were very grateful though feeling a little guilty which my mum dismissed as nonsense. I'm looking forward to seeing her next weekend, hopefully baby will have turned up by then though I doubt it somehow.
Jovi your cat is very cute. My two are a little miffed because they used to hide from the rain under our neighbours leilandi but they've been cut down. Their next place to hide was in the jungle which our garden had become but my OH cut the grass and dug out the weeds last weekend so now one hides under a bush and the other has discovered she can just about fit inside the bird table
My OH is at home for five days- working from home today then 4 day bank holiday though apart from for lunch I'll probably see him almost as little as I do when he's in the office as he's trying to finish all his revision incase baby does turn up.
I'm going to try to get a pile of study done as well as though I have 2 months before the next assignment is due I don't want to have to take too much time out from baby once he arrives.
Hope everyone has a good day *hugs*0 -
Congratulations mrs H! :T Might have to add Faye to my list of possible middle names, it's so pretty.
I too have a stupid cat, actually they're both stupid. The older one us in my avatar, he's gorgeous but a complete dumbass. We suspect that the younger one, who looks very similar, was dropped on her head as a kitten... :rotfl:
Just got back from monitoring, all fine as per usualThe midwife did ask me if I knew why I was still under consultant care...!
She did say that if I go into labour, I can always ask to go to the birthing suite, and the on-duty doctor can make a decision there and then. How articulate I'm likely to be at that stage is anyone's guess...!
My baby's room looks so cute! Even if I do say so myselfNeed to get a cot mattress, and to collect my moses basket, and I'd like to get a wall sticker to go above the cot too. Next time I'm on the pc I'll try to show you guys a photo.
Had such a productive day yest, sorted baby's room, including unpacking clothes, nappies etc into drawers, put some shelves up in the new built-in wardrobes, and started moving our clothes etc upstairs. Tiring but fun(I think I'm nesting, can't stop!)

For those interested in the BabiesRUs Deal.
They also have this http://www.toysrus.co.uk/index.jsf?fh_eds=%EF%BF%BD&fh_location=//brus/en_GB/categories%3C{brus_brus}/itemtype=product/promotionname=3725&fh_start_index=0&fh_view_size=10
which although a little more expensive, would probably be a better deal as the mattress is sprung rather than foam, so it'd last until baby was 4 or 5. With foam it'd be likely you'd need to buy a sprung mattress when baby is 1-ish. I think it'd be about £208 with the 20% offxx

Yuk. I feel carp today. Felt great when I woke up. Got him started revision and started to feel dizzy and disorientated. Had a wee lie down not sleep but still feeling a bit woozy and just not right. Then the postman got me up to deliver my new dress for graduation from eBay. The one someone posted last week and it's gorgeous so I try it on and there is a big plucks nd a run smack bang in the middle of my bump. Soooooooo grumpy. Hopefully off to cinema lately but I'm quite uncomfortable and feeling a lot of pressure so not sure if that will happen.
Sorry for moany postlove you lots like jelly tots0 -
(((hugs))) rjh, hope you feel better soon
BB, I too am looking forward to seeing the piccies
Is it sad I am actually looking forward to cleaning more this weekend? OH will be home so will be able to move things round in the bedroom, I have the layout all planned out
I have pre-op on Monday morning, am getting nervous now, I think it's just that this week has been so emotional, I feel exhausted mentallyI admitted to my mum that I feel quite depressed and have done since I lost my job back in January.. everything has just got on top of me (hence the minimal cleaning around the house). I have actually felt a bit 'normal' for the last two days so I think it has done me the world of good to talk about it all
