Evening all, hope you've had a good day
I'm so excited for you miss money! Hope you're having lovely mummy cuddles right now
Well I certainly felt the heat today, was so sticky. My feet are enormous! I can definitely empathise with you, triangle, even my flip flops barely fit now.
All the electrics are finished in my lift now, and the bathroom tiling is started. Bad news its carpet fitter can't come until next wed, so can't start moving furniture etc up there yet.
Washed all the newborn and 0-3 months clothes today, they looked so cute on the washing line! Also did a huge batch cook of bolognese and chilli for the freezer. Another couple of jobs ticked off the mat leave to-do list!Getting these little bits and bobs makes me feel a bit more in control and prepared for baby, which is nice too :T
Hope tomorrow goes ok for you tomorrow sa-ra-ra (is that enough ra's?!)

In my first pregnancy my feet went from a size 7 to a 9
For my 2nd they went up to a 9 again but this time didnt go back down again so im now a size 8 - i dont even want to think about what I will be left with this time round :rotfl:
My nose also got biggerLOTS bigger, thankfully it went back to normal afterwards :T
Spent the day today hiding from the sun ironing baby clothes and watching OBEM - there was an annoying woman on this weeks one that got me thinking,
What is everyone planning for their birth plan ? Will you write one, or just wing it ?Bow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais0 -
I'm going to write one but just a vague one I think, I don't see the point in writing one too detailed.

We shall have to start up a fat feet club with BB!My feet don't feel longer, just fatter. I'm dreading going to bed tonight as I know I'll be laying there with my feet feeling like they are on fire
Regarding birth plans, I'm going to write one as I like to be organised but I accept that things may go totally off the planApparentely I get to talk about it with midwife at 36 week appointment on Monday and they also have group sessions in which new mummies talk about their orginal plans and help you do yours. I'll definately give it a go - the free tea and biscuits sold it to me!

I think birth plans all depend on what sort of person you are. If your easy going and dont really mind then by all means make a birth plan, if you think itl upset you if it doesnt go to plan then I wouldnt as it can have a post natal pyschological effect on you if it goes wrong.
I really wanted a stay at home until 7cm dilated birth, bit of gas and air and no medical intervention, skin to skin right away and breast feeding.
What I actually got was a 48 hour ordeal, with an epidural recommended after 36 hours because I was still only 4cm. Then after 46 hours they tell me baby is attempting to come out sideways and theyd need to turn him with forceps, by this point i was hysterical as it was so far removed from what i wanted, i only allowed them to turn him if they let me try get him out on my own, which they did and I did.
Not trying to scare anyone with that story btw as Id do it all again easy, infact I cant wait. And for being so anti epidural in the past it was amazing. So what you think you want and what youd like in labour can change drastically. For some people i suppose labour is easy, i didnt find it agony it was more exhausting and i got my epidural for that reason, slow labour for 2 days and then actual labour for 2 will do that :rotfl: as I said though I loved it, and would do it all again. The frontier is never somewhere else. And no stockades can keep the midnight out.0 -
Evening ladies, posting from my phone so apologies for spelling errors and typos.
Today's claim to fame is one of the midwives from OBEM took my blood earlier as I've been admitted to hospital.
Good luck tomorrow sararara.
Birth plans- I wrote mine in rough already. Think it says something like I would like as active a labour as possible with minimal time spent on my back due to spinal condition. I would prefer to have as natural a birth as possible with only gas and air as pain relief although I am not opposed to other methods and procedures should it be to the benefit of me and/or baby. I would like my partner Ant to be in the room with me and to cut the cord if possible. After the birth I would like lots of skin on skin contact with baby and would like to attempt breast feeding. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
xx Mama to a gorgeous Cranio Baby xx
