where does it say that in the SOGA the op reported with in 3 days of receiving the TV

No, the OP went back to the store 3 days after buying it and left again after them advising her that the TV needed to settle in. Then went back 6 weeks later as the fault was still presesnt.

The OP uses the word "reported" but I suspect it wasn't. They just went to the store and left again after being given bad advice, which, I suspect, was a trick to let the 7 days lapse.

Your complaint that they sold you a TV with a known fault yet you still want it.

Since I imagine you have no record/proof of going back within 3 days you really will need to just keep pushing for a repair.

where have I said I want to keep the TV I have very clearly stated I asked for an exchange

It would be highly unlikely you will be getting an exchange especially after 6 months.

i cannot see why currys should be able to sell some one a TV knowing it had a know fault,

The implication being that Currys should have known that there was a known fault. I have had quick look an I can't see much mention of a known fault on any of the forums about this TV.

The part of the problem the OP should have real grievance with is the failure of the engineer to turn up that is really the only thing the OP will be able to have a go with Currys about and nobody really taking ownership of the problem and sort it out.

    Hintza you make me laugh

The OP purchase a TV within 3 day notice a fault when to Currys and reported the fault was given incorrect information by their rep after some time you contacted Lg was told it need to be returned they also agreed the rep gave you faults informed you.

When they contacted curry again they told her it was a known fault with this model of TV but will only repair it as its been 28 day
The fact she reported it within 3 days asking for an exchange and they gave her faults information this is classed as her first contact.
The SOGA DO NOT state you have to except a repair they clearly state the product has to be fault free that fact you contacted them within 3 days show it was not fault free
If you buy a product that turns out to be faulty, you can choose to 'reject' it: give it back and get your money back. However, the law gives you only a 'reasonable' time to do this and I think the 3 days happily fall under this, the fact they gave you faults information so you would leave the premises without being able to exercise you legal right doesn’t make much different.
Also the fact that every time they told her 28 days have passed she can only have a repair is a very misleading statement (CPRs)
The OP had also gone out of her way and agreed for engineers to come to her home which didn’t turn up even foe this proves she gave them the chance to check the TV for the fault the fact they didn’t arrive is not her fault.
op has got the right under SOGA for an exchange or money back as it was 3 days after she received the TV and contacted them.

Really!!! I hope you are not implying I have lied? Why would I do that im on hear asking for help if I give you faults information I will not get the correct answer also is their customer service chap lying when he told me it’s a common fault with this TV when it gets hot the speakers vibrate on the frame of the TV I also got the same information from LG .

That was still 6 months ago. So the OP will not be able to sort to out via this method sice they have no proof that they visited 3 days after purchase.

The OP is where she is now and has to deal with it on that basis. Fortunately she contacted Currys within 6 months of purchase so it will be deemed a warranty claim (hopefully) without fuss.

Does BOLD help bolster your flawed argument?

I have no idea why its come out in bold but thank you for the childish comment I have no idea how you are able to operate on this forum. can I ask why you always have to make a personal attack in your comments which is not needed.
And for the advice you have given it is totally incorrect even a first year consumer law student knows if a consumer contacts the sell within 3 day that there is a fault with the product and request an exchange/ refund they are breaching SOGA by refusing it, this is more reinforced with the fact the sell agreed the model has fault but will only offer a repair
