the TV is good thats why i want an exchange, i cannot see why currys should be able to sell some one a TV knowing it had a know fault, when i purchase the TV if they said by the way its faulty and you will have to take 2 days of work one for us to pick it up for repair and one to drop it off and you will be with out a TV when it getting repaired i would not have purchased it

But that was 18 months ago.

If you get no resolution with them then why not get some surround (or stereo) speakers for it.

They are, under the SOGA, entitled to repair it first.

Your complaint that they sold you a TV with a known fault yet you still want it.

Since I imagine you have no record/proof of going back within 3 days you really will need to just keep pushing for a repair.
