Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
I like this bathroom, but the access panel under the sink looks so.....gappy. It would really bug me. Is that over finicky?

I'll be out between 6 and 8, so if I'm doing the honours it'll need to be before or after then0

That gave me a link with lots of pictures on it - which one did you mean?0 -
If we don't use thrice times twice as nice this time, we'll never be able to use it again, so why don't we use that for NPT6, and keep some of the other good suggestions for later incarnations? Although it's up to Nikkster, of course, since she's the one doing the honours.
Can we see if we can stop exactly on the round number as we did last time, please??
Thrice x twice it is. I do like the word thrice, and its not often that I find the opportunity to use it.0 -

I do really like that. How much would you be looking at the area under the sink? I think it looks tidy enough, but if you think it would always bother you...0 -
That's the one. 56 more posts to go.
I'm confused - this post (quoted was 9941), how does 56 add up?
I reserve the right to delete this post when my maths has caught up with me!
Edit - perhaps you meant 59 and it was a typo (more likely than wrong maths methinks). Unless my brain is still still lagging...0 -
I get these calls, I tend to be very naughty (but with a certain amount of right on my side as our number is also on TPS). I am afraid that I simply ask the caller to hold on, and then I either replace the receiver or just leave it on my desk whilst I get on with something else. If I leave the receiver off the hook, I usually shout 'just a sec' every minute or so. I regard it as a public service, like picking up litter.
my tactic for any call where i don't recognise the number (or a withheld number) is to pick the call up but not say anything and just listen to the idiot on the other end.0 -

Bathrooms need storage. minimilist is fine, but where are you going to store all your toiletries and spare loo roll?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
