Chick has a sibling. Chick one was black, chick two is yellow. Nero and Xanthe we think.

Lovely. Here is a hope that they are little girls.

    Yes please!

Eggs hatching is always exciting and hopeful. But then the...sexing drama and outcome can be a pain. Pretty sure these babies are all egg breeds or mixes too.

I overdid it friday, so had to take lots of pain killers yesterday :(

Every cloud has a silver lining, side effect of the pain killers is that you brown quickly in the sun.

Doctor said I will be up and running after a few days originally - I said that would be amazing, given I've not run in 20 years!

These things often take far longer to heal than they say. So ok, your up and moving in a few days but give it 3 months and it will be far more settled and comfortable.

    When can I drive?

When can I fly (in a plane, as a passenger, obviously)?

I remember had a very minor op - just a catheter put in an artery - and it took a few days before I felt better. Of course it will take time if you have had something more major, but 3 months sounds like a long time.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Urgent call to all NPs with kids possibly going to uni. Only just got DD booked into her halls of residence. Seems the booking deadline's this week for many of the halls- do check as it's not well publicised.

    Thank you!

Panic over 12 July deadline for applying in one and 31 August in the other.

Isn't it all 4rse about face? Students have 'chosen' the Uni they'd like to go to - and haven't even sat their A levels, but are already up to their necks in obligations at having to sign for halls they might never live in because [a] they fail they don't get accepted [c] they get a better offer they didn't expect [d] they decide to join the circus instead.
