Its as if the pheasants know the time of year. There was arow of them on one of the field gates this morning..like sitting ducks.

There is a Relationships board ????

    Apparently.

There are all sorts of places on this site; a bit like boxes in the far corner of the loft. There might be a few interesting things hidden away in them, so certainly worth exploring, just not today. :)

It's still there now. It won't disappear now until the MSE staff get into work in the morning, I shouldn't imagine.

The outing of somebody's real name, town and place of work was shocking, and despite posts from lir and several others saying so, the OP didn't remove those references. :(

I've thought that about quite a few threads. There is a long running thread on there from m00l00 about her daily life and how she is (not) coping. She's posted on there about her adult children and their interaction with social workers etc I'm surprised that that hasn't been removed.

I just had a look back and noticed I joined in early 2005. I made under 100 posts in a couple of years and asked a few things, probably business related and answering a few threads about business banking and basic book keeping n stuff.

I wanted to ask more personal financial information and as I had naively used the same user name from another forum where i was more prolific so I decided to use a different user name which I can't even remember now :o

The current guise was created again so I could post without being judged, which didn't work BTW. I found this board when there was a festive thread running and I wasn't doing anything else, so I hung around a bit. Then carolt started the NPT which was just what I needed

When I joined here, I made sure I used a completely different user name to my normal one, mainly because my other user name is so well known because of my forum...and I know some from over there post over here.

I can't remember where I really started, think it may have been the housing board or the Debt free wannabee board (I was after tips to save money rather than debt advice). I jump between quite a few boards here now, the relationship board being one (missed that thread though) and just recently, the praise, vent and err, can't remember board and the consumer board.

But I feel most comfortable on this board.

Pretty blooming cold here this morning, bedroom temp was down to 13 degrees this morning when I woke up (and that was with the heating on!) and is currently sitting at 15 degrees with the sun streaming through the windows..but I was snug as a bug in my lovely bed with the quilt and fleece on top all night. I did put the tumble dryer on this morning for a short while (less than 30 mins) with the boy's school clothes to warm them up for them to put on.....they like that.

Pathways night tonight for youngest, he has some idea of what he wants to do (History, business studies) but is a little hmm about geography (his current best subject), goodness knows how we are going to pick 6 choices, he refuses to go beyond 2!

We've also somehow got to come up with the choices by next Friday but before that, we only got the booklet 2 days ago, the pathways evening is tonight and before any choices have been made officially, it all has to be discussed with the SENCO to see if the choices are right for youngest...it's going to be all very tight on time.

This is not helped by the fact that this year, it does not show which courses are being held on which site (the academy is over two different sites) and we need to know before his options are chosen as he cannot cross site without a member of staff being made available, which of course, complicates things.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I love rhubarb crumble. Yummy. Has to be with my mum's custard though or it just doesn't cut it.

On a totally different subject I went to the supermarket tonight and came home with a pair of trousers by Gok Wan. A sale bargain nonetheless. I then had a conversation with DH that went something like this:

"Oh my God, what have you got there?"

"They are my new trousers, from the Gok range"

"Gok, more like shock... And when I say ..ock, I mean ..it"

"So you don't like them then"

"No! They look like something a supermodel might wear. Only in that size, something a very pregnant supermodel might wear".

I like them though, but doubt that they will make many journeys out of the wardrobe as they aren't really practical. If anyone is wondering, they are the floral ones part way down the page in this article:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2062816/Gok-Wan-launches-second-collection-Sainsburys.html. You'll be pleased to hear that I didn't also get the matching top.

if the mrs came out the bedroom wearing those intending to leave the house, there would be words! :)
