'Little' being the operative word there. There's not much on them compared with the input of preparation, especially if they're flattish. :)

There's a section of our road about 12 miles distant, where I swear one could pick up enough pheasant road-kill to live on. There's a sign saying "Caution, pheasants in road," which locals seem to respond to with the words, "Bring 'em on!" :rotfl:

But I'm pheasanted-out now. Someone threatened me with a couple more last week, but they weren't on the door handle yesterday, so there's a chance that's it for this season. ;)

Unfortunately for you, pheasant is in season for another month IIRC.

It's a Zastava 101 Super in this guise but all of the above is probably correct :)

    Lada Zastava

I don't think Lada Zastava is correct.
Zastava is an ex-Yugoslavia car maker, nothing to do with Lada.

I thnk the Fiat 124 was also made by Lada and the Fiat 128 was made by Zastava as the Yugo.

Couldnt wait to get shot of my fiat - it developed an intermittent fault nobody could fix. When I moved to London, I parked it down a side street and checked it once a month. Pretty much forgot I owned it. Eventually forced myself to flog it at an auction and didn't bother with a car for ages afterwards.

If we had more cars like that it would be great antidote for global warming by putting people off driving.

Hm... Given Davesnave's location, I'd guess some of the pheasants are obtained using Danny's grandpa's method no 2, and that method is never out of season.

Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.
