How observant lir. I am so out of touch with the nice people that it's not so easy to suddenly dip into the conversation though. I know I should make more effort.
Glad to see you all continuing the thread. :A
Don't even try and read all the posts you've missed. That's almost impossible after more than a couple of days
Hope all is good for you :beer:0 -

Hiya Treliac! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

47", wanted a 3D one mostly so bumped the size while I was doing it.I am reluctant to put anything on the wall in case the wall comes down in the process.
All our TVs sit on TV stands. (or should that be "stand" on TV stands?)
I am quite the opposite, I hate my TVs on standsWe have them on the wall with the plug socket, aerial socket etc hidden behind and I think it looks much better plus it seems much kid safer. On the other hand last one I put up was into engineering bricks and drilling 10mm holes in those b***ds was not a picnic without an SDS drill. The bracket which allows the TV to come away from the wall and pivot for up to 40 inch and 40kg is quite a piece of engineering.
You have just described my TV bracket, just have to convince the other half its safe now.
It doesn't help its tilted forward so the viewing angle is correct, does look like its coming away.
May have to put a picture up as it really is amazing.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

Not just the ones on that page, look around - some really unusual fun stuff.

Edit. I meant on. Pn is not covered with a cloth in my corner.PasturesNew wrote: »*makes note to not ever visit LIR ... or to let people know I'm going in and if I'm not out within an hour to come looking for me and call the police*
We visited lir and didn't get kidnapped. Or even put in the corner and covered with a cloth. DD got soaked in the rain, and lir lent her a t-shirt while her own was drying in front of the wood burner. Does that count as being covered with a cloth? DD wasn't asked to stay in the corner while wearing it. :rotfl:
OK I have marked a few more questions for my A2 class, and am having a few minutes off to think about the slow progress I am making with my house. I've posted some pics and a request for advice about furnishings/decor "elsewhere". Replies welcome either here or there, but I feel happier putting the pics there.
ETA Hi treliac! :hello: Do stick around. The conversation never sticks on one topic for long, so as soon as a new one starts, you can join in without feeling at any disadvantage.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0
