ssshhh...it's only spitting here and if the grass is dry enough will get the first mow of the season. i have weeds
and nothing else planted. potted up yesterday but am about 3 weeks behind.
Know the feeling.
I lost everything when the winds came & took me greenhouse with it.
I planted a whole heap of new seeds last week.
I'm back to looking at bare compost daily & grumbling about nothing having grown...It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

I've been cycling through the same four websites daily for the past three months because the office has been dead. I've been watching the amount of brown stuff build higher and higher because next week is a big week at work but delays and technical hitches and no training on the new software will mean a sewagey tidal wave of epic proportions...0 -

I'd say go. What have you got to lose? £15? In contrast you could gain a series of hilarious experiences! Bargain!
I'd rather spend £3-4 on some takeaway food and watch the telly ... bound to be somebody on the telly for freeNow THAT'S a bargain. Of course a REAL bargain is a free meal, or something cooked for under 20p + the free telly option.

TBF the project manager is someone I know and respect & she has worked her a$$ off on this plus her normal daily job. The problem is she has no real power ... it all lies higher up where no-one takes a !!!! without a health and safety review meeting. Boss boss is off with a horrible and life-threatening illness, we've just gone through a company wide restructuring which has left several key positions unfilled and it all kicks of for realz next week (for my team anyway). Oh joyz.
NPs are keeping me sane, you really are. That and the possibility of becoming a special constable (just got invited to an open evening, oh boy oh boy oh boy)Emergency savings: 4600

It's cheesy mash and beans night for me ..... looking forward to that. Bought 2.5Kg of spuds early last week as they were only 69p .... now got to eat a mountain of mash before they start to grow....0
