Fine, thanks. And I hope everyone else here has been as well.
I've been busy writing. Novels and stories for kindle, mainly, but I have checked in here from time to time.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

Hanging out here? Has anyone here read it? After viva mentioned it i looked for reviews. The sex aspect is neither here nor there to me, i would not buy it for the thrill nor avoid reading a good book about sex, nor the attack on womens lib some reviewers are hot under the collar about. The reason i won't be buying it is it appears from reviews to be poorly written. So why bother?0 -

You must have made a fortune on your first one if you're doing more.... where fortune = worthwhile potential bearing in mind it's residual.... or making you're well minted now and spend your time buying big bottles of champers.0 -

I would NEVER trust reviews that say a bestseller is poorly written. They generally come from people who are failed writers.
Personally, I would download the sample on kindle and see for yourself.
The writing is coming on more or less as I expected. At the moment the point is to get better at it. Money is not yet the goal, I think it is a distraction. That said money does trickle in from it even though I'm still not very good:)“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

You know, i would agree if it were a few reviews, but the consensus seemed to agree. I have ignored such stuff beore and even if its a good yarn, usually the reviews were right. I don't care if i read bestsellers or sold one fy, though there are land ark books i read just because i think they make my reading more complete, but i would rather read good stuff rather than a best selling romp. Unless the best selling romp is also a literary masterpiece.:o
Edit, fwiw two, no three, family members review for a portion of living. Two have been successful in their writing, one is a wannabe.0
