Our mums would have had cash in her pocket and we'd have gone without, but then everybody went without so you didn't feel deprived.
1. My mum did drive...but dad paid for all the stuff. I walked pretty much everywhere, including in 4 inch heels, a mini skirt, a blouse and a nothing jacket in snow!
2. I paid for my own license, James is paying half of his and the other half I am paying as part of the treat system I operate for decent exam grades.
3. Not sure a knitted case would cut it! I had knitted pencil cases
4. Not really able to go without it as it is an essential part of a drum kit and it will enable him to earn some pennies in the very near future where he will pay me back.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

I love Location, Location, Location (can I admit that on here, will I be pilloried...)
I've been cycling through the same four websites daily for the past three months because the office has been dead. I've been watching the amount of brown stuff build higher and higher because next week is a big week at work but delays and technical hitches and no training on the new software will mean a sewagey tidal wave of epic proportions...Emergency savings: 4600

Not seen it. I like Rhod Gilbert in bits.
I'd say go. What have you got to lose? £15? In contrast you could gain a series of hilarious experiences! Bargain! It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

The road I had to cross is the main road through - and usually busy, busy, busy, at a standstill ... chokka .... and people speeding in spurts to 'impress' .... nothing. Nobody.
Vivre La Recession. I can cross roads, no queue for the chinese, no queue in Aldi. Joyous
I reckon it was because the FA cup final was on...;)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
