You've only got to look at this thread to see how disinterested everyone is. Wednesday was the only day this week when I could be sure it was OK to spray the bad weeds in our 4+ acres of fields. The spray needs about 12 hours to work best, without being washed off by rain.
Going on last year and the year before, I thought I'd no chance, but I got through it in about 6 or 7 hours. This shows either that I'm winning, or that the docks & thistles are learning not to come up until I've done this job.0 -
Not all men like football.
At my grammar school it was discouraged, so only variations of rugger were allowed on the playground (and then with no drop goals.)
Football was something we didn't talk about, because none of us did it. It was like homosexuality.;)0 -

I like to watch the odd good game but not that fussed about the normal humdrum league games.
Basketball is my fav sport though I can enjoy most.
