He has always had a rather rude sense of humour GDB but he certainly went one further yesterday and today.....we put it down to the fact he wanted to impress the paramedics and doctors that at the age of 71 and a half, he could still 'perform' :rotfl:

Unfortunately, the damage to his brain from his strokes 2 years ago is quite extensive and the damage caused over this weekend has made this worse...at the time of his first stroke, he was being paraded about (well not quite literally, they were all coming to his bed) as being a medical miracle and living proof of the success of the clot busting injection if given in time. Unfortunately, his milder stroke 3 days later left more lasting effects than the very serious original one.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I also can't do a lot of things in certain weather and at certain times of the day. e.g. washing - and showering. Can't do these after dark as it's easier to get out of the house and deal with any problem during daylight hours... if there's a fire/electrical fault. I hate showering - that shower box in the cubicle, I'm petrified of being electrocuted :)

I also dislike using electrical heaters as they'll catch fire. And I hate gas boilers because they have flames. So, again, having the heating on if it's dark is problematical as I don't want to be dealing with a fire when it's dark outside.

I'm behind but I wonder if someone can recommend an online storage website that is inexpensive and nice?

My portable hard drive is on it's way out I think. I've just dumped it all on to the laptop but I'm going to need to keep it somewhere safe!

how much space do you need?

I use dropbox and you get 2GB free and 500MB each time someone signs up on your link or if you use different services. You can pay to upgrade. You do need to install software though.

It rained a bit over night here, the road was wet , but the soil had sucked it all up and was dry and it was very, very windy, so that will have helped dry it up a bit too. I brought the horses in early, not because of flies and heat but because i guessed they would welcome a break from the wind, it was raining then, but really the wind was drying in on me, and the horses, immeadiately.

It's mainly photgraphs and possibly music. I have 5GB with BT Internet which I cna't work out how to use. Just looked at Flickr and it's 45 dollars for two years of unlimited photos which doesn't look too bad compared to the £5 a month sorts I've seen. I think I've got about 10GB in photos, haven't organised the music yet, really need to do that.

    With 9/11...

I was in an office..., I just remember thinking "bl00dy skivers, watching the telly over there.... they should get a proper job"

    That was probably me :)
Was in the office having the usual browse between work ;), then the first plane hit ("freak accident?"). Then the second one hit, by that time, all news websites came to a crawl, so we went downstairs to watch telly in the meeting room for the rest of the day.
Also remember the M25 was even more a mess than usual and it took me 2 hours to go from St Albans to Barnet.

Got rid of the Steve Jones avatar. I was kind of hoping to get some smutty messages, but didn't get a single one. :(
