Thanks lir. Will be travelling past Wheezy, lj, doozer and all the ss's tomorrow on our way to meet my new niece. :beer:Realised that I'll probably pass near Johnny Bravo and LydiaJ as well,( but less sure of that).
Depends where your niece is. I'm further south than Doozer but not as far south as lir. Where's sss555s?Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
I used - you know - to be able to talk - you know- without interjecting 'you know' after every second word -you know- but put me in front of a TV camera and reporter and I develop -you know- a mannerism which I don't really have in real life, interesting I think - you know. Now I am wondering if I do it in other stressful situations like high pressure presentations and meetings and everyone had been to polite to tell me - you knowCKhalvashi wrote: »I was pretty much the same, going back to 2003/4, when I was young and on TV back home. I was in a movie in 2007, and didn’t say anything of the sort at all, you know. I’m the one that says ‘I think Ukraine will be the winner’, for anyone that’s interested.
The front of my house was in a film!
School for scoundrels (1960). Obviously I wasn't born then and it wasn't my house at that time. Missed an MSE trick as we sold the door on eBay in 2010, 2weeks later some bod from a local film society knocked The door to tell us that he was bringing a coach load of tourist round to look at the front of our house on a 50 year reunion of the film industry. In the film someone famous walks up to our front door and pins a note to it. I could have sold the door as film memorabilia rather than an old front door.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Book keeping today which is a part of work that I honestly like very much. I'm normally getting on top of things at the start of the month but I've been a bit distracted by work n other things.
Yes, that's how much I like book keeping. I don't even class it as work :j
Now where's that radio channel...0 -

Can you do mine then pretty please;)? I don't like book-keeping at all, yet my business affairs are relatively simple, I only have a small number of customers and only raise a few, high value invoices. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Yeah, and that's why I'd rather get my work done in Scotland rather than - relatively speaking - round the corner.
Though if I got to meet George over a lunch of calzone and orange kit kats, that could be worthwhile. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Lunch is double the price, and you're not having my Kitkats.0
