I think I would do the rest and accept the mismatch - only one door after all and maybe if you are ever getting a new front door...
We have gone with a sort of brushed silver/grey metal and I only like knobs for some reason (that didn't come out right), the old doors and handles I do not like but we won't change them till we have spare money as they are perfectly serviceable just not to my taste and this is MSE...I think....0 -

Oooh, now there's an idea, have different plates/handles on each side. I can do that! Brilliant idea, thank you! Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I quite like knobs too michaels, however because the previous owners didn't paint the doors correctly, if I don't go for full handles and plates, I'd need to replace the doors too - more cost I don't need. What I'm not mentioning is that I also need to replace the bathroom and a substantial part of the kitchen. Oh, and I need new carpet throughout, and new built in wardrobe fronts, and a new damp course for the porch, and the patio relaid, and.....
And that's in a house that doesn't need that much doing to it!Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Imo its a better solution than a mismatch in any ither way. E.g. We are familiar with rooms being painted different colours and we don't insist curtains match house wide....but do temd to coordinate across a room or open plan space.
Personally, we will be mismatching within our choices....i want everything to relate but not match here.0 -

Yes I thought I had remembered that. You don't look it.
I'm not terribly fussed about door handles. They open doors. I am mildly bugged by one of the ones here that has got bent - but that's about as far as I go.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
