You've posted a SoA, as you're looking to set up repayments to your creditors.
In doing this, you've not included assets you hold abroad, and you've also not been honest as to the actual level of income you have? To the extent that you've put down a lower income than you actually get? This is all in order to reduce your payments?

not quite. he posted up details of his income and expenditure and asked for ideas on how to cut the expenditure because his income may be reducing in the future to a level that might not sustain the expenditure. his SoA disclosed no debts and a net asset position of >£1m.

it annoyed some people because they thought it would upset DFW board users who are in severe debt trouble. others gave constructive advice on how his expenditure could be reduced.

obviously in the spirit of the debate housing and the economy board, i created a sockpuppet troll account and orchestrated all the negative comments, but don't tell him that.

Ah! I got the wrong end of the stick there then...:o

    Sorry!

Re para 2, people with large incomes can have debt issues etc. The low paid don't hold exclusive rights to money troubles, do they?
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

edited as my orig post was not accurate.

All my income is declared; I’ve just posted on what I knew I was having, not what the situation may/may not be.

I’ve got a small mortgage on a Spanish property still (£94/mth), but at the same time, that’s there more for ‘credit reference’ purposes so I can get access to finds if I need them than anything else.

I'm not particularly bothered if posters put up the extent of their wealth (or poverty!), it doesn't make me envy them or pity them....it's just a fact of life, there are some who have more than most and some who have less than others, it's the way the world works.

But then, I was never a keep up with the Jones' type anyway.

Anyway, appointment 1 done for today, couple more to go. The first one was for James, he now has another set of initials to add to the growing list of things wrong with him, this time something that is not expected to be seen until a person is in their 40's, he is 18. His list so far is EDS, P.O.T.S, heart murmur (not quite so innocent now but I won't/dare not, think about that) and GERD. He has now been advised to take it easy and on the next episode of chest pain, to call 999.....hmm, not sure he will listen.

Obviously it is a worry but he wants to be able to lead his life his way and I don't think he will 'conform' until he is forced to. As far as he is concerned, he would rather enjoy life than be stuck at home doing nothing.

Youngest is now much better and is back at school although his peak flows are still a little under par.

And finally, a statement review for middle son yesterday, it went well but they are frustrated by his refusing his one to one help (he is supposed to have 25 hours a week). But they are pleased with his progress, pleased that he now has a growing group of friends thanks to music and are actively encouraging him in this by allowing him to practice during form time.

There has been much more going on this week but I won't bore you anymore than you have been already!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I know but it feels like my posts are always woe is me.....on a funny note though, we now have a kitchen bin in the shape of a FAB lolly thanks to James' work place.

yes, yes they can. i know a couple of people who earn pretty decent money i.e. >£125k but spend it like water and cannot get their finances under control.
