I don't care much about shoes or handbags, jewellery and nails are my thing.
I don't care much for any of the above! I wear no jewellery, my nails are bitten to the quick, make up is only applied on special occasions or school meetings and my shoes are either trainers or my £4 now 6/7 ish year old non designer court shoe.
Mind you, I can always be bribed by a Radley handbag.......We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Not a toe nail painter here......never painted them, not even in summer!
My left foot doesn't look very pretty at the moment, scalded it yesterday when my hand released a just made and very hot cup of tea on it.We made it! Hi all. Not been around much. Doc says I am not fit for work still. Yet under ESA my pittance of benefits have gone. Still after over 40 years of paying out to the government, would I expect much more. Did hope so.
PN my friend, did I tell you my wife and I are leaving the West country? Back to sunny Reading. Going to buy with my sister in law, who after 30 years and 3 kids has been deserted for the younger model.
Well 23 years down here is 23 years too long. Be really glad to get back to civilisation. Thankfully getting my mental health back in order. Been a long and difficult trip. Yet must admit I am so looking forward to getting away from down here.
I have known my sis in in law from a kid and she looks on me as the older brother and her 3 kids are my God children and we are close. Going to sell here and selling her place and buying something that will do for 3 of us and her youngest. As long as I can have a decent shed so I can set up my keyboards and computer and not having 2 ladies moaning about empty beer cans, I will be happy.
Already networking for a couple of days work a week up there and looks well easy.
Like you PN. would really welcome some return on my savings. A likely story. Hope you guys are Ok and will talk soon.
Pleased for you pobby. Hope all goes well. :beer:0 -

Yes, BBC coverage was quite good. I think they showed most of the race, or it seemed that way through good editing.vivatifosi wrote: »I can't imagine going without a passport.
Even our doggy has one of these:
Haven't been posting much. Busy at work (financial year end mania), but I do read all NP posts!0 -

other people's feet are horrible and the less i see of them the better. i don't see the point painting toenails or fingernails either, but as long as girls can fit it in around their cooking/cleaning/ironing/laundry/making tea obligations then i suppose it's up to them.
i imagine i will be killed in the next 2-3 minutes. nice knowing you all!0 -

Thank goodness you didn't mention the S word.
Your not liking feet - how does that fit in with your user name?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
in order to chew someone's leg off, you need to be as far away from the foot as possible, otherwise you aren't doing it right. it's not "chewhalfmylegoff" or "chewthroughmyankle". the whole leg.

While shoes have to look OK, and/or be fit for purpose (work shoes), generally they are to keep your feet warm and to stop you walking in glass and dog poo.0 -
Spent this year under a 72% marginal tax rate- was looking forward to next year only being 42% but now it is going to be 67%
I won't be paying any tax this year, didn't earn enough. It'll probably work out at £4-5k ... and that's without any expenses as I've not had expenses this year that could be put against what I do.0
