I am downstairs browsing MSE whilst my elderly girl cat is under my bed eating a small rodent. It sounds very crunchy. I just have to gauge how long this meal will take and then I can go back to bed.
The spare room is a tip, sleeping on a sofa in the sitting room is a no go as the dog will lick and paw me and both sofas in the kitchen are covered in DD's uni stuff.
Choices...tidy up somewhere, or wait.
Off to browse CNN and NYT me thinks.
Apart from MSE what else do NP browse in the middle of the night?
I shoo them out of the room, or preferbly grap the cat and pop in out of the windopw to finish the meal. Being brought breakfast in bed, or waking up with cold cuts of mouse in jus d'interieure squash into my neck, or where every they have put it for me, is a revolting start to the day and to be avoided at all costs. I dislike the idea of them spreading out their midnight snacks in the bed while i am gone.
Though they might well do it when i am not there i suppose. I must stop leaving the bedroom door open through the day0 -

Stretch mark cream as part of a pampering gift is fine, it's things you may need. Stretch mark cream on its own is a no, no.
A bit like someone buying a gift set with day cream, night cream, moisturiser and anti wrinkle cream, ok as a package, but anti wrinkle cream on its own would convey a message.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. [2] I think you're supposed to start using stretch mark cream when you first get pregnant, as it softens the skin so that when it stretches it doesn't tear, so doesn't leave marks. Could get her a pot of polyfilla for them though
Two isnot a factor, they are telling people very early, so the right time for a gift. But do think it risks 'interpretation' as a gift, which i seek to avoid. Just a nice straightforward nice person gift...no interpretation possible.0 -

I'm really not into expensive creams. Molton brown and the white company are the names that spring to mind for mid price range gifts.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
