War Horse: The Real Story - on now

Just flicking through to find something and I spotted War Horse has just finished on Channel 4. I think some NP's wanted to watch that, so if you rush to 4+1 right now you can see it.

Thank you! :) I have a few more possibilities to play with.

    Some of these look great.

Been contacted by another old friend from school, who will be in London next weekend but not sure I can be bothered.

This is probably no help at all, but on the somerset levels their is a basket weaving place that has a huge sale room, and some excellent baskets. I saw a huge trunk there for a great price, and have always regretted not getting it. We got a stair basket for under a tenner. So if you and your dh fancied a trip to somerset i can try and remember excactly where...:D
It's on the A361 near Burrowbridge, just after or just before Burrow Mump, depending on which way you're going....Went past it yesterday.

We'd get a bag of sand in the summer, for the garden, to play with. And a net on a stick so we'd take our buckets and go to catch tiddlers. One year we got a square of metal and some little magnets to throw at it. I remember having an old wind-up monkey, a wind-up gramaphone and a plastic blow-up paddling pool. We also had a blackboard easel - and we'd throw blankets over that to make a wig-wam in the garden.

I had solitaire and some playing cards and Happy Families and Snap. Also, chinese checkers, snakes and ladders and draughts.

Oh yes, nets on sticks were great! Cathing bigs and swimming things.

We hd the pool, the tennis court, the boating lake, the other lake, the river, the croquet lawn, the woods, the field, the old railway line and not many toys as the parents were always broke but the pile of builders sand kept me occupied for many days.

We got a shoe rack and screwed it to the inside of the door for the cupboard under the stairs, works very well.
    I think....
