I have been desperately trying to think of something smutty linked to winter tyres to ask you.

mysave is only available online, so that may be why.You see, this is the kind of nonsense I don't have time for.
What an utter waste of everybody's time and money that they'd do that.
In a perfect world I'd have one bank and all my money with one bank in one well paid savings account, linked to a current account, with online and telephone banking available.
yeah, but the bank is there to make money for itself, not to provide you with convenient banking services, so you've got to navigate the system. you won't get a good rate that doesn't fall after a year these days, that's just the way it works. Then there's ISAs. I never understood these and I think I've done it wrong. Each year I buy one, I think that I should have been keeping them together in one and just moving the one about.
i am terrible with ISAs, i always forget about them, i managed to consolidate them together a couple of years back but then just forgot about it again. i can't even remember my log-in details for it now.One of my main issues has been the length of time it takes to open up accounts and provide (different) IDs and then wait for paperwork to arrive .... and my life's not been settled enough for that and many addresses I've had aren't secure enough for banking to come there.
that's why i went back to mysave this year after their promotion rate expired - because no ID stuff required, and they send you the login codes within about 2 working days.
worth a look i think.
drawback of it is that their website is rubbish.0 -

Now all I need is for davesnave to change his avatar to Jose Mourinho, michaels to Clive Owen and all the sssssses to Robert Downey Jr and I'll almost be in hog heaven. Then, given he's in Aus, for Gen to morph into Hugh Jackman. sigh...
That does work all the same, but it's better to have seen a real picture of who you post with so you can put a face to them, like a few of us did viva.0 -
I wonder what'd happen if somebody chose a salacious new name, got a slutty avatar and posted in the main board area inviting PMs
We could run a book on how many seconds from that posting was made to when the 50 PM limit is reached. With another book on how many would attach photos of themselves or parts thereof.0 -

I used to get a lot of abusive PM's back in the Gold/Silver discussion (argument) days.......I never bothered answering them. (however it is a good way of finding out who is who in the sockpuppet world)
I find hearing the number of people who've had abusive PMs really disappointing, particularly when I can't imagine any reason why you, or Gen for that matter, would possibly merit receiving them.
In the book I've just finished "The Psychopath Test" by Jon Ronson, there's a bit where he meets a woman who was injured in the 7/7 attacks. She came under a full on attack online from people who thought she was a government agent and making it all up and wasn't there. So she decided to confront them. She walked into a room full of nerdy blokes who wouldn't say boo to a goose in RL but had really obnoxious online personas. One of them was the former M-i5 agent David Shayler who clearly has his own personal issues. He later described how the planes that hit the twin towers weren't really planes at all, but missiles with elaborate holograms that made them look like missiles. I don't really know where I'm going with this point (nothing new there) except to say that it's very sad that people have so little self confidence that they have to denigrate others like that. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I'd like to know whose life was saved as I have in my hand one of those official award certificates.... I've got the newspaper cuttings too, but they didn't give details, so I looked it up and they don't really like to tell you. You have to write to them to find out the details, but they still might keep them secret as it might be information of a sensitive nature. e.g. there's a chance my old saved a drowning suicidee.
http://www.royalhumanesociety.org.uk/html/research_request.htmlThe Royal Humane Society’s records, in particular the casebooks in which details of all the awards granted have been recorded, contain personal and sensitive information. It is a legal requirement that this information is not openly available to the public within the possible lifetime of those involved in a case. Because of this, the Society’s casebooks for the last 100 years will not be made directly available to the public. However, access to information in them will be provided, for individuals enquiring about their own case, through LMA’s enquiry team.
Next of kin or relatives of those involved in a case or those undertaking academic research should contact LMA to discuss their needs and the available options.0 -

Though after seeing what happened to hsw in the thread that got pulled, I'd say there's zero chance of that. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
