that will be a challenge for you - we are currently renting less than 600 square feet, which is pretty effing tiny.0 -
Anyone else got a kid in year 6? It's national offers day today for secondary school places. DS got his first choice - not that we're surprised because we're a long way inside the boundary of the catchment area, but it's nice to have it confirmed.
PS No smutty, rude, suggestive or otherwise bothersome pms here, and I'm happy with that.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

My kichen is big. But its got a loo in the middle and no sink or fittings, and the other one is an ok size, with fittings, that come off i. Your hand and a leaking sink!
I wish we had one of the putbuildings done, you could come here for summer while you decide what is next.0 -

I went to Lidl to buy some rice for dinner and ended up with 5 packs of perennial plants at 99p each. can't go wrong with 99p pack of perennials (since they were mostly 2-3 a pack)
and they have some nifty propagators. I could have easily spent £50 in there today but restrained myself :rotfl:0 -
Lidl here was like locusts decending...no parking even. Instead went to plant centre and bought a japenese wineberry and a bargain kiwi. Now have to clear a space to plant the kiwi!0

Happy St Davids Day to silvercar, davesnave, and anybody else I've overlooked on the thread or lurkland.
No I don't get PMs of the kind you're all discussing.
Well done lydiaJ on the school. We had a fraught wait when our DD first started her primary school many moons ago as we were only just inside the catchment area for a really good one but couldn't feel relaxed until we knew she had a place. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Wild swimming in the cake.... etching swan pedalo designs on the heat-baked earth in the heat of the summer. And, you've got those horsey things.... never been on one of those, I might even get to get on one
You'd find your cats missing though as they'd be in my place getting force-fed overdoses of pure kitty luff.0
