Hope not...but where - within cavity wall? May be between ceiling and floor?
Could it not be something still drying out - room has solid concrete floor which should be long dried and then 8mm ply with solid wood glued and nailed on top. No sign of a water leak in radiator circuit as pressure is not falling.I think....0 -

I always think they smell a bit like a gas leak...the metallicy smell mixed with a gassy smell.
Have you been in touch with the builder MS? Did you sort out the damp problem as well.....maybe they are connected?0 -
I'm going out on Saturday night for a meal with friends....to this place http://thebrookinnwashbrook.co.uk/ It looks pretty normal from the outside but our group ate here the same time last year and it was absolutely amazing and the owners so friendly. We didn't feel rushed at all, in fact, the male owner pretty much invited us to take our shoes off and put our feet up!
If anyone is interested, we are eating from menu B as shown in the party bookings tab.
Feeling yuk tonight, middle son has been so very kind and given me and youngest his stress cold from last week (every time he has an exam, he comes down with a cold.....we have had a fair few colds since September), do so hope I feel oodles better for the weekend, it will be my first night out without children for a whole year!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Ooohhh....can't be mithered to edit the previous post.
I was having the pee taken out of me yesterday by my family...because I speak so poshly and am so pedantic about spelling on text messages (I cannot abide text speak).
Some members also didn't agree that a nice voice can get you far, as far as I am concerned, if you sound like a chav, who would want to employ you in a customer facing well paid job?
Made me feel a bit of a freak though...I come from a family of East end Londoners but sound like someone with a plum in their mouth. We made it! Anyone else found the comparisons to the Titanic highly annoying?
"It was just like the Titanic"
No it wasn't
My heart goes out to the people who have perished on the Concordia, but it was nothing like the Titanic.vivatifosi wrote: »To be fair, I think a lot of the comparisons to the Titanic are to do with size. Wasn't the Titanic the largest passenger carrying vessel to have sunk? I have previously sailed on the Achille Lauro but I think that was half the size of the Titanic when it went down.
"Canberra" the big white whale that was sent down to the Falklands as a troop ship, was almost exactly the same size as Titanic. Concordia is more than twice as big as Titanic.
The ship owners are always under pressure to pile extra lightweight decks on top at each refit - which produces a wallowing gait.
It is not yet really clear what was done to make the ship "pirouette" after the impact and it would be interesting to know what became of the bulkhead doors after the impact (On Titanic the "impossibly" severe damage resulted in the water flowing from bulk head to bulk head as she slowly settled in the water)
Had the accident been as reported in the Daily Mail (Hit a rock about 5 miles south of Giglio) then the loss of life might well have been at Titanic proportions.chewmylegoff wrote: »http://www.ottolenghi.co.uk/locations/ this? not that convenient for me, if they open up a Richmond branch i will pop in!
Something tells me that I will have starved to death before the Basildon branch opens.
This is the place to go in saff Essex, for that celebratory meal

Ican't afford one of those. Good one.
Reminds me of: -
It all began with an iPhone...
March was when our son celebrated his 17th birthday, and we got him an iPhone. He just loved it. Who wouldn't?
I celebrated my birthday in July, and my wife made me very happy when she bought me an iPad.
Our daughter's birthday was in August so we got her an iPod Touch.
My wife celebrated her birthday in September so I got her an iRon.
It was around then that the fight started...
What my wife failed to recognize is that the iRon can be integrated into the home network with the iWash, iCook and iClean.
This inevitably activates the iNag reminder service.
I should be out of the hospital next week!!

He'd be fine with that. In fact, OH is planning on camping this summer.
Isaac, like lots of small children, I think, is learning about life in routines. So he needs to put his nightclothes on before he brushes his teeth - it's the way things are. And it makes him feel more secure.
But in my parents' house, he'll happily wear socks in bed, because it's what Isaacs do at their grandparents' house. Not at home, because Isaacs don't do that at home....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
lostinrates wrote: »Capsized, innit? I do not sail so not sure of watery terminology and unlike viva hate the idea of a cruise.
Sort of - in sailing boats, anyway, a capsize is when it's on its side, rather than leaning very heavily and sinking a bit at the same time. "Holed below the waterline" would seem to cover it.
In small racing dinghy boats, though, a capsize or two is part of a normal day's sailing, really! You learn to do controlled capsizes as part of learning to sail, where you nip over the top on to the centreboard to pull it back up again.
This is a laser capsize:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Therefore I look down a menu and if I don't fancy the meat stuff, then I look at the veggie stuff.... hate mushrooms though.... and most poncy veggie stuff.
You are me! Oh no!
I don't like "dodgy meat", which includes anything with fat, skin, gristle, or anything weird, or anything that's mashed up so you don't know what's in it (burgers, sausages, etc).
I do like fish, but not seafood, and I loathe and detest mushrooms.lostinrates wrote: »Which is why we could never have a dim sum nice person meet. One of our number is shellfish allergic too, is it ndg? And those who keep kosher.....
