    click on the name
    select "view public profile"
    select "user lists"
    select "add to ignore list"

and their posts are blocked. of course you can still see that it is there - you get a box saying "you cannot see this post because [insert troll name] is on your ignore list".

however, if someone else replies to [insert troll name] and quotes the blocked post, you can still see it, so you have to block them as well!

    Hey all, gatecrashing again

The problem is the repliers to the trolls. One of my favourites was AsboKid (R.I.P), as he used to give us his unbiased, accurate advice

it made me smile that you originally misspelt swype as swipe when suggesting this to resolve LIR's maniac typing, and had to correct it. :)

Not sure if good luck is appropriate.... you do realise that 'er indoors would see this as a nesting opportunity if you're successful don't you :)

Good luck chewy.... hate to see a good man beaten down by wedding magazines, but that's life, eh!

I don't see it available for "macputer" yet but they almost spell themselves.

I'd have a look at other keyboard software and see if any suit you better as there can be quite a difference.

    Something like this for example...

No, you can actually set your forum settings to blank out messages from certain prople.

I didnot bothEr to replay to chewy, because i am probably now on ignore...if not good luck again for tomorrow..le us know earlyish when we can uncross fingers before hey go blue.

I like ignore, but use it short term. Icinsider it help to person control rather than smething outwards directed.

well, interview is at 3pm, and i probably won't find out until tomorrow whether i got through, and then it transpires that i'll need to go for a second interview to meet the head honcho as well. i suppose it makes sense that they will actually do a reasonable amount of due diligence on me before letting me loose in a high risk area.

feeling pretty confident now, i think i've worked out the right things to focus on in the interview, identified some material weaknesses in their model and come up with some solutions/improvements. i've got tomorrow off work just to draw up a few standard answers to the obvious questions, and work out some questions to ask them. (no1 question "what is my external consultancy budget?!)

pffft. get back to your lampshade chat in the sensible forum.

if i get it, then i can afford a trophy bride. not sure what the mrs will think of that, but they'll just have to learn to get along.

if i fail, she will be so disappointed in my inability to get a decent job that she will clear off in disgust and leave me and my xbox in peace.

    it's win/win really.

I can tell I’ve done too much work the last few months! 2 whisky shots never used to be a problem, now I find them disgusting!

I can’t even do 1/5 with rest lemonade tonight
