You mentioned walking - do you know if more strenuous exercise has a role in triggering problems?

I'm not much help; I found out that appendicitis often skips generations. I found out after DD's problems that my dad had his removed at 17.

I don't know much, when I complained of pain they couldn't find anything else so put it down to adhesions.

One doctor said, get fit and do 200 stomach crunches a day!

My pain has never been bad, just noticeable. I find that walking gently exercises the muscles and eases the pain.

Today, day three of a serious dose of seven seas tonic....and the third day in a row of actually getting stuff done! That stuff tastes like ure sugar, but seems to be pure rocket fuel. My kitchen is something resembling clean again(though still have a pile of washing up to do later), and i have been in the garden. Having a quick cup of tea.....another thing being done, each time i have a cup of tea i am trying one of the ones bought too long ago and seeing if any need top be bished.....honey and ginger seems to be past it so might have another cup of something nice!, then back out into the garden. I filled the bird feederr earlier, and there is a collared dove gorging its self silly out there. I have run out of seed though.....so have to find where i can get it most cheaply again.

just arranged an interview for a new job next monday. pretty apprehensive as it means going back into the real world, and doing something completely outside of my comfort zone. salary would be massively higher, probably up 60-70%, holiday would be basically halved, and work/life balance (which is already pretty parlous given that i've worked both days of 8 weekends in the last six months) would be flushed completely and utterly down the toilet for at least the first 6 months.

still, should just concentrate on seeing if i can get it first, and then worry about the rest if i get it (being realistic, even though i know the person i would be reporting to, the chance of this is probably <5%). at least if i get rejected i can be relieved!

Yes, it is quiet on here today.

I got up and did my 10 minutes of resistance rope work, showered and came downstairs and blitzed! All downstairs spring cleaning done, hall way, loo, sitting room, dining room, breakfast room and kitchen. Excess essentials (carp) binned as I was feeling ruthless, coffee finished and now off to get some veggies for tea and soup making.

got some admin to sort out this pm and ironing but thats it. Where is everyone??

    Very efficient!

Spring cleaning takes me ages. This is a sort of pre spring clean clean....things have got that bad! Its hard with stuff moving about to odd rooms becuase of builders and works and bits of house collapsing etc.

Eg, one wall of current dining room is messily stacked boxes of books, which means the chair where i temporarily dump clean laundary doesn't look so manageable, soit has be ome a mountain. The spare bed upstairs is where i take laudary to after the chair and before going away. At least, i presume the bed is still there somewhere under the laundry. I think i see it sometimes when burrowing into the pile for knickers. This morning i saw a summer dress i must have worn last spring...that it the last time it was really warm, right?
