I have a smartphone (Wildfire) but I use it for texts, calls, calendar, contacts, camera, torch, satnav, and a few other apps, but not email.
I've never used a Blackberry, but IMO the iPhone is better engineered and more hassle-free than the Wildfire, but no good for me because of specific features - I need timed silent, otherwise I put my phone on silent for work, and forget to unmute it again afterwards. Then I put it down and can't find it. Not only do I then not have a phone, but I don't have any keys either, since my keys are attached to my phone, so I can ring them up and hear where they are (providing I haven't left the phone on silent) when I have put the keys down and can't remember where.
Welcome Graham. Enjoy the NPT.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Any android will via pushing to G-mail.
That's a good price including a fone Percy, bet it's with T-mobile?
I didn't change my fone when my contract expired and they offered me 500 mins, 250 texts n net for £6 PM which is good but I had almost used all the minutes in the first couple of days this last month so I may have to have a rethink.0 -

i tried not to have one, and managed for ages to resist, but then one day my secretary just dumped one on my desk. thanks a million.
Dh now has two......and, btw, is keeping two, along with an apology and new offer from His office for next year. You can't leep a good man down. I am so proud of dh. Apart from that spell before christmas he has been amazingly calm and steadfast, knowing he was in the right and not prepared to play dirty to prove it. I have fallen a lottle bit more in love with him.0 -

The kids always have their phones on vibrate. SO when they can't find them we all have to stand absolutely still and try to work out where they are vibrating from.
I have a deja vu typing that, I'm sure I types something similar on a previous NP thread!I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
