One place I worked gave me one - I turned it off the moment I left the office and didn't turn it back on until I came back in the next day. It is my time not theirs.chewmylegoff wrote: »work blackberries just make you "on-call" the whole time, even when you're on holiday and are drunk, and are hateful things as a result.
i tried not to have one, and managed for ages to resist, but then one day my secretary just dumped one on my desk. thanks a million.
Hmm - you can get other devices with a remote to control the vibration - so I have been told. The kids always have their phones on vibrate. SO when they can't find them we all have to stand absolutely still and try to work out where they are vibrating from.
I have a deja vu typing that, I'm sure I types something similar on a previous NP thread!
I have a 20 quid o2 topup scam on my card this eveningThanks everyone, I called the hotel. The card on file is definitely NOT mine (I don't even own that type of card) but this person apparently has the same name + surname combo as me. Think it's down to an email transcription error, my email is name.surname@domain.com, the namesurname@domain.com was also taken so guessing that a . wasn't meant to be added.
As a few of you who know me IRL, that is pretty unusual but I'm a bit gutted to realise I'm not special (by name).
Hope viva's back recovers, loving lir's peacocks and i have to go find some dinner after an afternoon meeting in London and couldn't work on the trainI think....0 -

Seriously though, given you are our foc webmistress Pastures, the last thing you should be doing is paying for hosting too. Which I think makes me fifth or sixth in seconding whoever said that earlier (I am confused now). Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Recently did this deal for DW for a very nice Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S (allegedly the 4th best phone on the market at the moment) for less than 100 and all contracts are always free for 12 months with cashback - generally about 600 mins, unlimited texts and 1gb data. Handset should be worth at least what I paid for it after 12 months so basically free. Can't understand why people pay for their mobiles.I think....0

I should up the bandwidth on that account really (means logging on, getting the right screen up and typing in a bigger number).... the last 2 months the bandwidth's run out in the last day or so. As it's a reseller hosting plan I get to set the bandwidth etc for each website - and I've no idea if I have an overall account limit (probably), but I know I've still got spare to just type in a new bigger number so I don't start getting the "bandwidth warning" emails from about the 28th of each month
So many things to do in life though ....0
