What makes some one who read arch and anth less knowledgable than a comedic actor/presenter?

I can't remember the context, but that reminds me of an old saying/ditty/punchline: Once a king, always a king, but once a [k]night is enough.

It probably came from a Frankie Howard sketch, or Benny Hill, in the 70s.

Earlier, I remember us saying it in jokey contexts in the mid 60s.

I have just reduced 14 pages of script to one. Always good at crib sheets, me! :D

No idea, but I notice it happens to some EA shots too.

Personally, I love the "thinnify" button on my photo editing software, even if it's ungrammatical. :)

Exactly. Patrick Moore didn't exactly flounce off in a fit of pique complaining his role in explaining the cosmos had been taken over by a boy-band member.

If they're up to the job...

My sister got a clean test back from her post cancer treatment checks. :). I don't know how often these tests are done. Good news, huh!
That's good. I think you go annually for X years and if it's been clear all that time then you get the big sign off and are declared "clear", so no more checks.

    X could be 3-5, depending.

I know my dada had a five year check..his was annual until then. I had thought so soon after treatment she would have one say, in six months time or something.

OMG ... I saw that thread and read through a few the other day in disbelief - I had NO idea there was such a thing - and I had NO idea people had so many - and I had NO idea they cost so much!!

My two nail varnishes both will have cost me about £1, probably about 10 years ago.
