That's another one of those urban myths in the 45% head heat loss article. The hat will definitely help though, it would be more than 45% of heat loss if the rest of you is tucked in a cocoon of duvets.
You get fat anyway no matter what time of day you eat it. Eat away. I've been munching on Toblerone all morning, thinking about the gym. Going to pop down there for a coffee in a bit
There's a beeping noise outside my house that I've heard once before - I couldn't find where it came from last time. It's a bit cold to go and find out. but it's annoying. High pitched beep, beep (pause) beep, beep (pause) :wall:Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

We have these in warm white: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180720579912?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649
And also 40 more from another co but similar - they are about 35w equivalent - after 4 months of the 50 bulbs probably 6 hours/day on average one has started to flash sometimes.I think....0 -

i don't agree with that - to take an extreme example, if you were to eat nothing all day, and then eat 2,000 calories (of cake, or anything else for that matter) immediately before going to bed, then you would definitely be fatter than if you ate 3 meals (of the same cake) comprising 666 calories at regular intervals during the day.0 -
270 lumens - looks like a substitute for 50/60 watts of halogen/tungsten (a halogen being one that burns so hot that the "soot" of vapourised element gets redeposited back on the element)
I'll have a word with my sister - I only need 4 not 10/12 - see if we can go halves.
"after 4 months of the 50 bulbs probably 6 hours/day on average one has started to flash sometimes".
In theory they are claiming 50,000 hours, which sounds like a lifetime to me.
Half a dozen years ago, I got excited about CFL (compact florescent) and tried to replace everything.
Some designs were complete rubbish and lasted 6 weeks or took 2 hours to warm up0 -
My friends little boy who visits me has been slow to talk, and never outside home. Today he has said : cat, fire, hot, blue, horses, dog and mummy. It's the first time he has said much at all to me, usually talking in guinea pig speaks and pointing.0

A daily occurrence here. Hence the increased walking!:oIt's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Interesting choice of number there.
Something you wish to tell us?:think:It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
I think next time I buy light bulbs I'll just ask here which ones. It makes no sense at al to me, but I am fed up of the dark.
Lj, I almost went out for cake such is the craving, but instead am having a cup of herbal tea. And no, its not hitting the spot. At all. I am going out for lunch with a friend later in the week, maybe there will be cake then.0 -

yes of course because in the 2nd scenario you eat 2 calories less0 -
Chewy is saying exactly what the nutritionists told me. They start out with 'put less in, take more out ' which is true, but there are all sorts of complications and get outs to this. It's not as simple as it seems when. Something goes exceptionally wrong or right.0
