Cookery shows i think need a little more concentrTion than films, if you are tryingto follow a recipe. But its shorter bursts. And one strand of a plot to follow. Except those thirty minute meals. Which i like, but its funny to watch someone cook a meal to time sort of.0

Not much good at TV watching as I am scared of almost every type of drama/thriller and a few other things that trigger an anxiety.
Have to keep leaving the room if Mr Spirit has anything on ... scared of midsummer murders (really - I cant stand the suspense), poirot, Foyles war etc so most films are a no go unless they are Rom Coms.
Dodged in and out during the Midwife programme tonight as a missing baby was held in a dodgy looking place. Kept myself busy in the kitchen picking bits of Guinea fowl off the carcass for the cat.
Now watching a docu type thing on bomber pilots in WW2.
There was a clap of thunder during a play at the theatre last night and I nearly jumped out of my skin.
I really annoy my husband by frequently asking him to tell me the plot kine that I have missed.0 -
I tried to do that personality type quiz again tonight and just got really cross with it....or rather myself and my approach and struggle with it.
Instead i am going to go to bed and hope tomorrow i wake up able to spell again, with new back and lega and in a better mkood.0 -
God this is sad. I'm crying already.
Edit: I thought the Time Traveller's Wife was a lovely film. I thought when I read it that it would become a film. I didn't watch it when it came out, in case it ruined it, but it's been long enough for the story to be fresh again for me. Ger book "the girls" was thoroughly enjoyable read as well. I shall use Viva's link to see if she's written more.
I hope you feel better tomorrow, PN, I hope you're not struggling as a result of last night's antics. Sleep well.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Things like: "When flying, do you eat airline meals?" and there's points.... but you've never flown. And the next question: "Do you read short books or long novels on planes?" And there's more points .... and you've still never flown ... and the end result depends on the points you got ... but you had to leave a bunch of irrelevant questions out in the middle0 -
