This has been driving me mad LOL My only concern about Huvafen Fushi is that it is a 30 minute speedboat ride rather than a seaplane transfer which is part of the prize package?!?!?

So does Niyama fit all the criteria?

I agree with Liz, having spent most of yesterday trying to whittle down the clues, and after todays clue I think it is Huvafen Fushi, Niyama doesn't specifically mention room types that have private beach access as per one of the first clues, whereas Huvafen Fushi does. I don't think people shouldn't worry too much about the mention of sea plane transfer in the T&Cs as all of the Maldivian Islands can be reached by seaplane from my understanding, it's just you ordinarily pay more for these sort of transfers whereas speedboat is a given and included in the price of the holiday.

IANMURF could have a point there. Their other clue photos either mention that is for illustration purposes only or say it is NOT this one but this clue's photo doesn't say anything.

I agreed with your point about seaplane transfer which did mentioned in the prize so H Fushi is not the one we looking for I believe...

yes I think that is the one because as I read from Facebook page:-

I just checked in "the holiday offers" and I can only see one maldive there, as I checked it very late, so not know if it show more than one earlier today. Niyama was on the offers page at the moment.

What you all think of that??

Niyama was the other one which fit all the criteria apart from the private beach, only Huvafen fushi rooms had a private beach but I'll ask them on their facebook wall if they mean private to the resort or private to the rooms

There were about a dozen Maldive hotel offers yesterday morning including Huvafen Fushi and One&Only.

Last night I found photos on google of the seaplane approach to Huvafen Fushi. Does this mean it should be back in the running after being added to the heap of boat transfers only and discounted? Seems like it isn't all over yet as each clue seems to drag another possibility from the pile of discounted places.

I went through all the clues over the weekend & only Huvafen Fushi & Niyama fit all the criteria but as mentioned in my previous post I've asked Destinology to clarify what they mean by private beach as only Huvafen Fushi have rooms with private beach while Niyama doesn't mention that so checking if they just mean private to the hotel. I've also asked them to confirm if the picture yesterday is the one of the prize location in which case it is definitely Niyama. They haven't responded yet but will keep you updated

just had a reply from Destinology & they mean private to the resort not just the rooms so both hotels still in the running. Still waiting for them to confirm whether the pic yesterday is the prize winning hotel

Got this reply re the pic, they're not saying that the pic is the actual prize winning hotel so we've still got the Huvafen Fushi & Niyama in the running.

Hi Liz, sorry we did miss your comment. That particular clue was that the prize winning hotel was featured in our special offers section. We have used a beach shot for illustrative purposes. To answer your question directly would be giving you another clue, sorry we can't give more than one clue at any one time
