    Latest clue is:

A clue for you to ponder over today and the weekend, our prize winning hotel features Butler / Host Services across some of its room types.

    A quick look shows:

Soneva Gili - Resident Mr & Mrs Friday (Personal Butlers) on call 24 hours
    Niyama - Personal Thakuru (Butler)
    Viceroy - No butler service
*Park Hyatt - Personal host / butler 24 hours
    Waldorf Astoria - Personal butler
    Conrad - No Butler service
    Taj - No Butler service
*Huvafen - 24 hr personal butler service
One & Only - 24-hour Dedicated Villa Host
Jumeirah Vittaveli - Private butler service

I have also noticed that the prize includes return seaplane transfers. All of the resorts left on the list except Niyama have boat transfers or flights to Kaadhedhoo or Hanimaadhoo and then a boat transfer under the location tab.
I woke up last night to find the ghost of Gloria Gaynor standing at the foot of my bed.
    At first I was afraid.......then I was petrified.…

Not checked all but Conrad and Viceroy DO have seaplane and Conrad, I believe, used to have a designated host on arrival. Everytime I think I've got it the next clue throws me out again.

Purely on the basis of their explicit clues I've still got 8 hotels on my list of possibilities.

Seaplane transfers is specified as the mode of transport which is probably the 'subtle' clue they refer to on their wall, but a friend of mine has been to the Waldorf Astoria (used to be Beach House) and she got there by seaplane so we definitely can't eliminate that one!

Can't say for certain but surely if you specify you want a seaplane transfer then any of these resorts could be accommodating? After all its not like you need any facilities for those seaplanes as they land on the water!

    Todays clue is
If you find a hotel in our Caribbean section of the same name as any of the Maldives hotels featured in this competition, you can omit it from your list, as our prize winning hotel has a unique name! : http://www.destinology.co.uk/caribbean/

Off for a wee look at the Caribbean!

So its NOT the Viceroy - http://www.destinology.co.uk/anguilla/hotel/viceroy-anguilla-resort-%26-residences/14499/

    Ok, as a Maldives fanatic...

You cannot just book a seaplane to any old resort, any male atolls generally are boat transfer, so seaplanes would be Ari Atolls (north & south), Baa, Raa Atolls.

I hate to say this but......I am pretty sure it's LUX Maldives, the first clue was in the title... ie deLUXe Maldives. Also has villas with butler service and let's face it, if they are offering a holiday to this resort it's not going to be REALLY high end as they cost a fortune!! LUX is one of the more affordable 5* resorts.

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

    The detail of the giveaway...

""The lucky winner will stay at a 5* Deluxe resort in this stunning island paradise for 7 nights including flights with Emirates and return seaplane transfers.""

So LUX is not 5* Deluxe as mentioned in post 15

So which one you go for? I choose Huvafen Fushi for no reason as it is one of possible at the moment. Good Luck :T

    Today's clue

The prize winning resort we are offering has a sister hotel located on one of the Indian Ocean islands! Take a look at our Indian Ocean page here:
http://www.destinology.co.uk/indian-ocean/ - Please note that any sister properties might not be featured in our competiton and you may have to research other websites for information. The image used is for illustrative purposes only :)

Does not appear to say if there is a sister hotel on hotel details
