Htc sensation XE / samsung S2 /Iphone upgrade due not sure what to ?

So I am due an upgrade with three and have been reviewing the above phones , I currently have a HTC desire which does all I want to at the moment , I just use it for using facebook/twitter , web browsing , texts & calling ( though not too much of this).

Reviews for the above three phones both have good and bad which confuses me more, I can get the HTC sensation XE & Samsung galaxy s2 free but for the Iphone it would be an extra £100.

What concerns me if I get the HTC is that it will be just the same as my current phone , I would not really use the beats tech stuff as I have an ipod that serves that purpose very well. I have seen some reviews of the samsung glaxy s2 saying it crashes a lot. The Iphone is mainly cos it has good apps that i also think my my kids would like if I ever needed to keep them occupied whilct out and about IYKWIM but also cos it's an Iphone :o I have heard that the samsung glaxy s2 is very similar to the Iphone in terms of spec. I do not wann end up with a phone I hate for 2 years. Really unsure as to what to do ?

do you know anyone with any of these phones you could play about with-or go in a shop and have a look im not sure they'll let you look at the iphone but the others they might

its all about personal preference i went from the iphone to htc and preferred the android system-have you just got the original desire? i think the sensation xe has a better camera but dont quote me on that

  • Currently we have 3 phones in my house. Samsung S11, HTC Sensation xe, and iphone 4s.
I am no techy but imho the S11 is by far the best phone. It is incredibly easy to use, fast, screen quality leaves the 4s standing. The siri on the 4s isn't upto the samsung version either, rarely has it understood what I have said.
Even if the S11 and ip4s were the same cost, I would still strongly recommend the S11. The HTC is slightly behind the ip4s, but I am not that used to using it which doesn't help, though I would say it's screen is better that 4s.
Samsung Galaxy S11 all the way!

  • Just to add, the camera on the Sensation xe is terrible.
