i was looking at the exactly the same phones; and i have decided to go with the xe. i looked very closely at the ssgs2, and the screen looks brilliant - having all ready owned a htc sensation and read many reviews i am going with the htc xe.0

I'm looking at the HTC also, my contract on the Desire ended last month, was looking at the Sensation XE but now interested in the Nexus, although looking at a dummy handset in a 3 store yesterday it's huge! Running 4.0 should be good though, so will see what deals come out in the next few days.0

SGS2 will definitely get the Android 4.0 Ice Cream update .

I currently use the htc desire so i would normally say the sensation but I also like the look of the S2 and the idea of trying something new but no idea what its like to use etc.0

Been having a browse and the Galaxy Nexus is not surprisingly pricey! It's early days though and I found what looks like a good offer for the Sensation XE via Phones4U. it's the 12 month contract @ £36 PM with the handset costing £49. That seems like a good deal to me and the Sensation range will be getting ICS next!0

I would say the SGS2 - I had an HTC and it died on me after 6 months. I currently have an SGS2 and its pretty good.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200

I've had the Sensation XE for a couple of weeks now after upgrading from my Desire. I was initially going to wait for the Nexus, but when I saw the specs I was a little disappointed. It only has a 1.2Ghz dual-core processor (like the Galaxy 2) in comparison to the XE's 1.5Ghz dual-core. Also the camera is pretty poor, only 5mp against the 8mp of the XE and the G2. The best things about the Nexus are the screen (which does make it a slightly bigger phone) and the fact it's running ICS, but the XE and G2 are both getting that at the start of the year, so that wont be a problem for long.
I'm paying £31 per month for 600 mins, unlimited texts and 1Gb of data (18 months) Phone should have cost £40 on that tariff, but they said if I took out insurance at £10 per month I could have the phone for free. So I took out the insurance and then as soon as I got home, I cancelled itIf it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

There's no point getting too hung up on the specs. There's a lot more to a phone than just the specification.0 -
