Why didn't he do a second chance offer with zingaro2 for only £1 less than the winning bid?

Maybe he did but has more than one to sell.

hethchappers must have been a deliberate spoiler. Well done him/her though it has not taught Craig to list properly.

Why would anyone want a phone without a battery cover?

I suppose there could be the odd buyer who happens to have one but they must be quite rare.

I would have though that would have put most people off even if they hadn't seen it was a dummy.

He is a chancer but there is really nothing wrong with that listing. It is not misleading.

I have seen many listings where the seller says the item is not tested.

Someone may buy it for spares, or to repair and use and resell.

The current bid is £0.99 plus £10 p&p. At that price it is a bargain for the right person.

I might bid for it myself. :D

If someone buys it and finds it does not work, they have no cause for complaint.

The auction is downright deceptive - Why would anyone need a sim card for a dummy phone?

I think he means power lead, Not a lack of electric..

Ebay have removed the listing - he's relisted, this morning, with slight alterations; although the heading is still just as misleading!

  • Are you allowed to tell the bidders that this is a scam? I'd look at the bidding history and drop them a polite note to warn them.
