Samsung galaxy i9000 update not updating!

Hi I have tried what you suggested but still getting the message usb not recognised etc this is very frustrating

Now got another problem tried to update again but had a message saying update failed and now have a picture of a phone a yellow exclamation mark and pc on my phone????

I have got android on screen saying downloading but message on pc saying no device connected

have you got the usb debugging turned on ,that gives the same error in Kies ,setting ,applications and then development

not as far as i know but can't check as only get 2 things on screen

Try the OTA update
Settings about phone software update

Although its not yet switched on for many phones .


Alternative is download a stock Samsung firmware and flash via ODIN .

Stock Roms .and csc

its in the phone not pc and should be turned off

Yes i know but all i can get on the phone is either phone exclamation mark pc or downloading do not turn off target!!!
