When is MSE going to do something about this endless daily repeated multiple SPAM

Maybe thats the difference between voluntary guides and people who o it for a living? I dont think it is relevant though, if people want to be board guides they should do the job, voluntary or not. If they don;t need to do the job properly because they dont get paid for it then why have them at all?
But you can not expect people to be constantly on the site 24 hours a day. Paid or voluntary they have lives out side moderating. How do we know the person did not spend the last 8 hours sorting a and deleting posts.0 - 
            I's quite naive to believe that this forum does not make any money whatsoever. Noone does anything for nothing so there is mone involved somewhere so some slightly more 'tech savvy' guides should be paid. God knows why people would volunteer to be a guide for nothing (again I dont believe there is no money involved there either)0

Lots of boards have free mods.
Martin Lewis will make money and probably a few people round him.
Many people will mod for free. THere will be various reason why they do this.0 -

No but for a 24 hour forum, anyone would expect someone to be available 24 hours a day. Between even 4 people, this is not difficult.0 -

Looking at it realistically (in theory, it wont happen especially as they do it for 'free') then of course they could. All it takes is for 4 different shifts a day or someone to simply be available at any time. It isnt a 24 hour constant job is it, it is just monitoring things and being available at any time. I manage my own website, an Amazon and Play account and produce music on demand for a label. This is on top of my 9-5 job. As most of my work is done online then it is not difficult to manage and thats on my own.0 -

yes they probably have someone on call in case a serious problem happens as that would be an exception and can be managed around a 9-5 job. However you're proposing that a team of four all work different shifts to manage spam 24/7. On these 4 shifts a day how do they get 2 days off a week? What happens when they want a holiday and only 3 people are there? I work in IT and to monitor our systems 24/7 we have a team of 16. Plus all they do is monitor the systems.
