When is MSE going to do something about this endless daily repeated multiple SPAM

I'm appalled that the free service I'm under no obligation at all to use isn't doing enough to remove spam posts that inconvenience me slightly!

Is there a forum ombudsmen I can report this travesty to?

because this website does not make one single penny.

and poor old martin is living on the streets in a cardboard box.

as for the spam - not really fair to blame the site - its the same as receiving takeaway leaflets through the door

Why not hit the spam button on each post?

When you do, a message pops up saying......................

Thank you for reporting this as spam. If others agree and report it too,
it will be deleted untill the forum team can check it.

This tells me if enough members hit this button, the message will be deleted at any time of the day or night. You can't blame the team if members do not use the tools the team give us.

I've always been quite impressed with the lack of spam on mse. Not sure if you've seen over similar forums but sometimes every other post is "do you want a free iPhone, click on this link". Don't think I've ever seen that on here. They do a good job

Just because they don't seem to do anything about your particular problem doesn't mean they don't do anything. Unless you have been watching the thread/board which they've done things on you might not notice.

I've definitely seen a load of threads have posts removed from them, be completely removed or be moved to another board. I've seen them post asking people to take the threads in another direction.

Unless you are sitting with that board guide or admin then you don't know what they are doing.

I'm sorry you feel its not good enough and that another user thinks the BGs and Admin do nothing and have no purpose

I think you'll find there are many more spam posts removed than you will ever actually have time to read on MSE.
