• Ooh I didn't realise that about Gap limiting assignments to 8 per location per year - might start being more choosy.

Cannot believe the RE train assignments - not only are they not paying for your ticket but they expect you to sit there without reading, listening to music, using a laptop or mobile or even going to the loo!
Quick question. How are RE for closed shop visits? Did one yesterday that I took on a phone call. Advised the caller that I wasn't sure if the shop was still open but got an increased fee with assurances that I would still get the fee even if it was closed. After entering the 'unable to complete visit' option and why, the whole assignment has vanished with no record of it. Have just emailed them with a photo of the closed shop.

I know that this probably been discussed before on the forum but can't find it.
I was told that I would get the fee for a closed visit but it was never given,
• Just wondering if anyone has done the test centre for Bare? Any hints or advice? I'm not entirely sure what to expect and getting a little nervous that they will embarrass me :o

Also, does anyone have a landline number for GR? I only have a mobile so have to pay for 0800 calls, but I'm sure they've called me from an 01727 number in the past (along with ESA and ABA-i! :D)

Yeah I've done them. Embarrassed is a feeling you give yourself so just remember it's a role not really you and don't take it personally just go with it. Do a search of past threads been discussed lots before. I have an 01296 number if you want it but you can call 0800 numbers free using 01212840800 it will then ask you for the number you want

Anyone seen the text conversation on the facebook page for Helion?
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Why did they even have their phone on? I ALWAYS turn mine off when I make a visit!

I can't log in to my Gap account - Is it just me??
• Is anyone else having problems logging onto Gap. I have just tried with Explorer and Firefox. One tells me there's a server error and the other that I can't log on as I'm not a member. I was thinking maybe my time is up. I know they have a habit of doing that. I don't do facebook, can anyone give us a clue?

I agree about reading the thread. I read loads before I said anything as I didn't want to look like too much of an idiot. It is sometimes hard to help others when there are those around who know so much more than you, and sometimes you read the thread and it's been a fast moving day and your comment seems irrelevant, but I'm really glad that so many people have helped me out. I continue to read and hope that the more I do, the more helpful I will become.
