Right clever clogs, can I tether my iPad to my 3G blackberry to use it's data? If so, how? I didn't know "tether" was a word until now, but you've enlightened me! I need to get into technology a bit more, me thinks. :)

EDIT: No, I can't tether the two. There you go.

Nope, you could if the iPad had a USB socket and you coould download Blackberry Desktop Manager onto the iPad, but not otehrwise

Also double check contract, newer contracts aren't an issue, but older contracts don't necessarily include tethering in data allowance

I'm eyeing up this one http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/asus-epad-slider-tablet-pc-16gb-11361509-pdt.html but am struggling to justify it as I have a netbook, although I find it too heavy to carry.

Don't forget if you have a 3G phone you can tether your tablet to it so it uses your phones data allowance - great if you're on unlimited data.

I'm also tempted to wait because 4G is coming sometime ? this year, which is supposed to be much faster.
This is not strictly true, only some networks and contracts allow tethering

You can however tether via a different type of handset without a USB etc depending on network and contract.

Anyone else been getting phone calls from random mystery shopping companies offering work? I've had 3 calls today offering me work to last about 2 full days. Wooohooo.

I think I have done more work in January/have scheduled for February than I did in the last 5 months of 2011. It's looking good this year for me. Hope it's looking the same for all of you too!!

There is a hot circuit in Manchester at the moment on REACT. 4 jewellery audits, 1 uber posh purse shop and 1 trainer shop. BUN? Skiergirl? MG? Anyone else in Manchester wanna pick them up?

Not me thanks, Mysteriousgirl, you said you did not have a lot on?
  • Just one of those first time SA questions, do you have to say self employed or that you work for multiple agencies and submit tax owed for each company?

    Cheers in advance

I can turn my Samsung into a mobile hotspot for my netbook.

I find React jobs extremely underpaid. I won't do them unless it's a tourist place I can take the family to on a day out, just for a free day out. I won't purchase things for almost £100 or over and send them off for a very small fee. Mental. But I did manage to nab 4 banks yesterday. Shame they only allow 4 a month whereas I use to do 12 :(

Self employed, I am my business and I group everything in together. Think of it like you were a plumber - you wouldn't put down every customer you did work for would you :)
