You did. Spoke about it in a PM. Only up twice a month cos that where the OH lives. Don't take to much on because I only see him weekends so working them isn't very nice.

I occasionally do Teesside but mainly bob into Northallerton as thats where he is. Once and a while Darlington but only rarely if I know i'm going.
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

You did, I'd forgotten. And your welcome to Northallerton. I tend to be north of there anyway ;)

Do those devil machines / cash cows have a wifi option or do they force you to 3G it so they get more cash?

I'm eyeing up one of the Azus Adroid tablets atm and it looks pretty tasty.

I'm eyeing up this one http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/asus-epad-slider-tablet-pc-16gb-11361509-pdt.html but am struggling to justify it as I have a netbook, although I find it too heavy to carry.

Don't forget if you have a 3G phone you can tether your tablet to it so it uses your phones data allowance - great if you're on unlimited data.

I'm also tempted to wait because 4G is coming sometime ? this year, which is supposed to be much faster.

Right clever clogs, can I tether my iPad to my 3G blackberry to use it's data? If so, how? I didn't know "tether" was a word until now, but you've enlightened me! I need to get into technology a bit more, me thinks. :)

EDIT: No, I can't tether the two. There you go.

Have you ever been sent a report back and it doesn't correspond at all with what you remember? Just had one returned to me to do again after a few proof reading queries and I almost don't recognise it! I would swear I'm meticulous when it comes to those reports, don't know how it happened! This is what worries me about a tablet - I like to have the old fashioned piece of paper I can refer back to. Often when you submit a report you no longer have access to it so would struggle with the proof reading queries.

If you're looking to spend that much on a tablet then I would look at the asus transformer, if it was an android one. It was between one of these and an ipad when I was looking. On the subject of 'thethering' check with your network provider to ensure they don't charge you extra as I know some do.
