You have got what you are owed, chalk it up as a victory and move on its not worth the effort.HeavensDevil wrote: »Good news! She also chided me for coming across as aggressive in my emails! I replied and pointed out that this was because I was extremely annoyed at the way I had been treated - that is, not being paid when I ought to have been, with no explanation given, having to chase the payments and having several emails ignored. Also, having to collect the fleece sent to me in error from the Post Office depot and then returning it. I added that I don't think I'm unjustified in requesting rerimbursement for doing these things when I shouldn't have had to. Do you guys think it's still worth contacting the director to let her know about the trouble I've had? And that I feel I should be compensated for all the additional trouble I've had to go through?0 -
I'd let sleeping dogs lie, misunderstandings do happen and it's easy for people to get the wrong end of the stick from emails.0

I wonder how nervous MFers are getting, they have only managed to move 30 of the clicker jobs that I can see on my patch. Almost 600 left, I wonder how long before they decide you can do more than 2. I hope they get stuck with them TBH.0

Same here, I don't think any have gone in my city and people round here seem to take any old thing, even the crappy bed shop and RA jokes! I hope people take them soon, don't know if I could stifle a laugh if MF phone me up to try and get me to take one or two!0 -
There were hundreds in and around Dundee and they've all gone- any excuse to get in the pub0

Weird, so they have. I have Dundee set up as another address because I'll be up there sometime this month, but I'd filtered out all the clicker jobs so I hadn't noticed those ones had gone. There are still 220 of them round my home address. That's a bit odd, isn't it?
Apart from the clicker jobs and 2 opticians that have been there for ages, I'm seeing nothing else on MF, however many alerts go up. It's not fair, I want to be grumpy and refuse to do their low-paying jobs too!

I got a straightforward normal betting scenario from the ocean bookies on MFers but only done those, a railway caff and a couple of underground sarnies for the last 6 months. Not doing the pubs anymore and can't face the posh sarnies as they seem like too much hassle.
Still close to 650 clicker jobs left so a couple hundred have shifted since I last looked!0 -

She also chided me for coming across as aggressive in my emails! I don't think I did, someone very !!!!ed off, yes, but aggressive, no. (I assure you there was no bad language in my emails - I made sure I vented my spleen on here first! I did say I'd take legal action if I wasn't paid, but that I hoped it didn't come to that.) Anyway, I replied and pointed out that if I did come across like that, it was because I was extremely annoyed at the way I had been treated - that is, not being paid when I ought to have been, with no explanation given, having to chase the payments and having several emails ignored. I have no doubts that she will already be aware of your email, they are a very close team
just dont expect any more work from them unless they are desperate :rotfl:0 -
Theres a bloodbath just materialised over London on MF, must be over 800 clicky jobs. Have mailed them to find out if they'll let me do more than one as there are at least 6 within an easy ten minutes of each other and my frontdoor. Oddly the most appropriate pub in the area isnt included.0

I would take the money and run and never look back. I've never had a problem with the said company, I've always found them to be really good payers and the person you spoke about at that company is an absolute gem. Maybe she was having a bad day (or bad few days) and messed up I don't know. Sorry to hear you have had such a kerffufle, but glad you have got it sorted now.0
