when i'm signing up to assignments many of them have pay, expenses and special expenses.

i assumed that i could use the expenses to cover train and bus travel
Sounds like you might be talking about REACT.
They pay quickly so you can buy a one day travelcard and scan that as your receipt which they will then refund and you still keep your credit on oyster for days when you are not doing assignments for them and won't be getting travel paid for,

I would take the money and run and never look back. I've never had a problem with the said company, I've always found them to be really good payers and the person you spoke about at that company is an absolute gem. Maybe she was having a bad day (or bad few days) and messed up I don't know. Sorry to hear you have had such a kerffufle, but glad you have got it sorted now.

Thanks hun - I was very disappointed with her attitude regarding this, as she always sounded like such a nice and sweet-natured person on the phone and had been very helpful in the past. Bad day(s) or not, I'm through with the company, don't need the headache TBH! Think I'm totally done with merchandising now (except for those nice little theme park promotions jobs from React - more this summer please!), I've had nothing but trouble from both the companies I've worked for. Good luck to those of you who haven't been put off, is all I can say!

There were hundreds in and around Dundee and they've all gone- any excuse to get in the pub

All of mine (EH/ML postcode area) have gone and they all went really quickly. Have they pulled the project in Scotland or are people just insane up here?

Anyone else getting all sorts of silly routing question queries from TNS regarding the phone shops or is it just me that made a complete bollox of them?

Nowt here love, haven't had any sort of feedback or ratings - been wondering if that's a good or bad thing. I finally got around to sending back the dictaphone yesterday, perhaps that'll move things along! :D

Respectfully refraining from commenting on the BIB*... :D

    (*It's cool, I'm part Scottish :p)

Well the Lanarkshire ones just vanished in one go and there wasn't any in Glasgow so I don't know what is going on.

All gone in my Scottish search areas, including a couple that I thought might be hard to shift given their location.

Can still see some left south of the border, so maybe it has been pulled up here?

Hey, i'm new and i'm sure its already been answered on here somewhere but i cant find a search feature in the forums so i was hoping someone could answer a simple question for me.

i live in london and need to use public transport to get to the shops. what i'm worried about is that i'm going to other places 1st so if i print out a receipt for my oyster card it will not show that i have a gone directly there so i'm not sure how i will show the company what to pay for travel expenses.

the easiest way would be to charge for a travel card which is only a little more than travelling in and out but i'm not sure they would go for that either.

and how would i divide a travel card up if i have multiple visits in one day for different companies?

can anyone help me with this?

I did one in London for React and took a photo of my Oyster card and said how much I'd paid for a journey. Wasn't convinced they would pay but they did! .

I've been having odd questions as well - oh well have answered them as best as I can and shall hope for some money by the 28th. Some have marks out of 10, some don't. Think they are plucking numbers out of thin air tbh!
